I normally wear hats in the winter but wanted a headband so that I could keep my ears warm when I have my hair up. Black goes with everything and the logo is also in black so it's kind of discreet. Wish Carhartt still offered the fleece stocking cap with a single layer. Not so toasty so I can work hard like shoveling snow without sweating like the double thick cap would cause. But for times that I am not exerting while out in the cold, this is a great hat. I own several, and just bought another. You can never have too many hats; one in the truck, one in each winter coat, and one in my backpack. Great hat.
