I have been searching for a white hat that would truly shade my face from the sun, stay on my head and that I could put my pony tail through. I wore it to play tennis and to go to the beach. I could only wear my hair down or in a very low pony with other hats( except baseball hats but they do n't fully protect me from sun damage). This hats has a strap if I need it on a windy day and I love that I can wear a low or high pony and pull it through the nicely designed openings in the back. It turned out to be amazing it protects from the sun and most important when I wet the hat it really does keep me cooler. I do my yard every week and have a vegetable garden so this bucket hat has been my go to hat ever since I received it. I can also just throw it in the washer with no problem comes out same way it when in can ’ t do that with my straw hats.

My kids and I love our hats for a couple of reasons. First, they are so light that we do n't feel like we are even wearing a hat that gives great sun coverage, but we are! Second, my kids are able to get great sun coverage with comfort. In the past most of the hats they wore had brims in the back too. This would cause them to have to take the hats off when they sat in their cars seats, etc. Now they keep them on and they stay on because of the flat feature in the back of these hats! Great design!
