One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

These trousers are amazing. When the weather gets colder, the extra warmth these provide over the regular Keb trousers don ’ t go unnoticed! I also think the fit is greatly improved over the older Keb trousers but can ’ t speak to the new ‘ improved fit ’ ones. As for the higher waist, unlike the other review, I love this. It complements my figure better than the lower waist and it provides extra protection and warmth, as well as making tucking a base layer or t- shirt in easier and more comfortable.
