I initially bought an XL and it was just too boxy. I easily returned it for a size L and it fits my figure well. I am 5' 4 '' and it sits just above my knees. The material is a bit wrinkled from packaging but I think it will smooth out. [ When the weather changed for our Portugal trip I needed a rain jacket fast! This jacket exceeded my expectations. It POURED rain on us and i stayed completely dry! The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair. I have waist length, super curly, thick hair and this hood kept it all in and dry! the length was perfect and prevented my lower body from getting wet. I sized up from a XL to a 2XL as I wanted room to layer and wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. The deep pockets were perfect for extra travel items! I got a whole water bottle inside one! The most important part is it dried of super fast and was ready for the next day of rain! It is packable and folds down to a super small size! I highly recommend this jacket. If it can keep me dry during a relentless, 7 day, Portugal downpour, it will keep you dry most anywhere! BUY IT!

I was wearing this jacket when I had a horse riding accident. When I tell you I absolutely flew off the horse and slammed into the gravel- this jacket should have ripped immediately. Instead it actually ended up protecting my body from getting any cuts. I threw the jacket in the wash and it came out seamless as if nothing had happened to it. This is one of the more convenient running items I have ever purchased and I love it. I also like the fit, as it sits right on the waist area. I usually prefer for these to go slightly below the waist, but this one is nice as is. If you are running and get too warm the ability to change it to a vest is so convenient. This will allow you to not have to drop the piece off at some random location during a race to have to come back and find, hopefully no one has taken it.

As I was out shoveling, I discovered the designer winter coat I bought from a big department store was NOT waterproof. Unfortunately, I weigh 274, so finding a coat is n't easy. After researching, I decided to try this one even though it is over$ 300. It fits great( it is n't loose, but it is comfortable and I can sit with it zipped)! It also is not puffy, so there is no added bulk. The sleeves are nice in that they are not too short and I can tighten them at the wrist with the Velcro. I also love the chest pocket-- I put my phone in there and can listen to a podcast as I walk my dog. Well worth the money!
