I courted this jacket online for almost a year before committing. It's tricky finding great gear when your a larger size that does n't compromise on style or function. And am so glad I did commit. It's fantastic, great functionality, great weight, and so flattering. My favourite bit is how understated it is, no blaring of branding, classy stylish and full of so many practical features. I get asked where I got it constantly. Ca n't recommend it highly enough.

My first time skiing the Rockies was humbling, but I totally looked the part in my Ashton jacket. Flattering, comfortable, and chic, this bad boy kept me warm and dry during my half- dozen or so powdery wipeouts.

As an over- fifty, unskinny lady with hips and an hourglass shape, I absolutely adore my Aston( Granita shade). It's chic, flattering, true- to- size, highly functional and warm enough for days below freezing. I might add a thin fleece on below twenty- ish days. The inner breast pockets and outer cellphone pocket w/leash are perfecto. I normally wear size 14 on top and 16 on the bottom( depending on the brand). The XL fit very well with my Isabel snow pants in XL. When the pink is available, I 'll scoop it up, too. LOVE the Aston.

I ca n't say enough good things about this jacket. I wore it for a week skiing in Utah where it was both cold and snowy. At 5'2 '' I was a little concerned this jacket would swallow me up, but the fit it perfect and the thing I most love is the belt. It creates a nice silhouette. Pocket placement was prefect with the pass pocket on the arm and lots of others too. I did wear a slim down puffer underneath since it was so cold, but depending on if you run hot or cold, you may not need it.

[ I was heading to Alaska to visit my brother and I needed a better suited jacket for the elements. I ’ d tried this in at a local store but they did not offer and prints. The fit was perfect too. So I did a bit of research and found it with you! Perfect all the way around. I do ski a bit so this was perfect for that. I was t sure I would need this for Alaska but as luck would have it the temperature really dropped and it even snowed. I was quite cozy and looked great too. Two of my favorite things is the soft inner cuffs and the fleece inner collar. When you get it all zipped up it ’s cost on your face! Hopefully I ’ ll ski this season and put the jacket to a real test. The jacket does run small so I bought one size up.

I bought the Lawernce Jacket and matching pants in Alpine Green and when I wear them together I get asked if I work for the forestry service so maybe I should have gone for another color. It's a great jacket with lots of pockets in the right spot. I appreciate the cell phone leash and the goggle whips built in. It would be nice if the front zipper pull was a bit bigger or had a cord on it to make zipping up with gloves on easier like the pocket zippers have. And the collar could be a bit roomier to Zip up when wearing a neck gator.
5
Clare L.
The jacket is warm, comfortable, and has lots of great pockets. Could easily fit everything I needed for a day skiing, and it was warm enough with a few layers on a cold, blizzardy day. Sized up for a looser fit to be able to wear thick layers underneath( wore two long sleeves and a sweatshirt and was comfortable). Would recommend.

It's so comfortable and flexible while maintaining its utility to keep you warm-- truly obsessed. As a short- ish 2XL girlie, I was so stressed about finding a ski jacket that would work for my body and this one made me feel not only comfortable but confident. Love you forever, Halfdays!

Warm and cozy with stretch for maximum movement! Perfect for riding a bike, playing with the kids, or heading into the office. Ordered a size up as I am tall and wanted the arms to be long enough, I would have been fine with my normal size. Great hood and hem adjustments to keep out the chill.

I was scrambling last minute to find a coat for our November trip to Grand Canyon, Zion, and Moab with lows at night in the 12- 27'F range and but also keep my not too warm during hikes between 30- 50'F. This coat was great. I had strategic layers including the Tri Thermal Threads Tunic from Prana 2020 at night. I hate being cold, and was pleased at the performance of this jacket. I even regretted not wearing it one morning on one hike. Back home in Indiana, I 'll keep wearing this until it feels more wintery. It is lightweight, truly stretchy, and breaks the wind.

[ This jacket is of excellent quality. If you want to keep water out and are going to be in cooler temps I highly recommend it. I am using year- round for cost saving with layers or not. If I had the means I would use this only for colder temperatures which I think is what it was designed for.
When selecting a women's green snowboard jacket, consider features such as insulation for warmth, waterproofing to keep you dry, and breathability for comfort during physical activity. Look for adjustable hoods and cuffs to enhance fit and protection against the elements. Additionally, pockets for storage and ventilation zippers can improve functionality on the slopes. A stylish design can also be a factor if you want to express your personal style while snowboarding.
To choose the right size for a women's snowboard jacket, start by measuring your bust, waist, and hips to find your body measurements. Refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer, as sizes can vary between brands. Consider the fit you prefer; some jackets offer a more relaxed fit for layering, while others are designed to be more fitted. Additionally, think about the type of insulation and the intended use, as this can influence how snug or loose you want the jacket to be.
Women's snowboard jackets are typically made from a combination of synthetic materials designed for warmth and waterproofing. Common insulation materials include synthetic fills or down, which provide effective thermal retention. For the outer layer, waterproof and breathable fabrics are often used to keep moisture out while allowing sweat to escape, ensuring comfort during active use. Many jackets also feature additional treatments or membranes to enhance their water resistance and durability.
Yes, there are specific styles of women's snowboard jackets designed for various weather conditions. Insulated jackets are ideal for colder temperatures, providing warmth and comfort on the slopes. Shell jackets, on the other hand, offer protection against wind and moisture while allowing for breathability, making them suitable for milder weather or when layering is preferred. Additionally, some jackets feature waterproof and breathable materials, which can be beneficial in wet conditions.
Insulated snowboard jackets for women are designed to provide warmth through built-in insulation materials, making them ideal for colder conditions. These jackets often feature a thicker construction and are suitable for those who prioritize heat retention while riding. In contrast, shell snowboard jackets are typically lighter and made from waterproof and windproof materials without insulation, allowing for greater breathability and flexibility. Shell jackets are a good choice for milder weather or for layering with other clothing for added warmth.
To ensure a comfortable fit in a women's snowboard jacket, consider the jacket's sizing and fit style, such as regular, slim, or relaxed. Look for features like adjustable cuffs, hems, and hoods, which can help customize the fit to your body. Additionally, check for insulation and breathability to accommodate layering and movement while snowboarding. Trying on the jacket with your typical snowboarding gear can also help you assess comfort and mobility.
Choosing a green snowboard jacket for women can offer both style and functionality on the slopes. The color green often blends well with natural surroundings, making it a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate a more earthy aesthetic. Additionally, many green jackets are designed with features such as insulation and waterproof materials, providing warmth and protection against the elements. This combination of style and practicality makes a green snowboard jacket a versatile option for winter sports.
Yes, a women's snowboard jacket can be suitable for various activities beyond snowboarding. These jackets are designed to provide warmth, water resistance, and breathability, making them ideal for winter hiking, skiing, or simply enjoying outdoor activities in cold weather. Their stylish designs also make them a fashionable choice for casual wear during the winter months.
When considering the durability of a women's snowboard jacket, focus on the materials used in its construction, such as high-quality fabrics that resist wear and tear. Look for features like reinforced seams and water-resistant coatings, which can enhance the jacket's longevity in harsh weather conditions. Additionally, consider the jacket's overall design and fit, as a well-constructed garment will better withstand the rigors of snowboarding activities. Regular maintenance and proper care can also contribute to extending the life of the jacket.
Yes, women's snowboard jacket styles often reflect seasonal trends that emphasize both functionality and fashion. During colder months, insulated jackets with waterproof materials are popular, providing warmth and protection against the elements. Bright colors and bold patterns tend to be favored in winter sports fashion, while more muted tones may emerge in transitional seasons. Additionally, lightweight shell jackets are commonly chosen for spring snowboarding, offering versatility and breathability.
