My knees were totally shredded through my leggings and bleeding with the skin all torn up. But my palms- TOTALLY unscathed!!!! There's no rips on the gloves and my palms are totally in good shape. They are super easy to get on and the wrist strap to pull them all the way on is helpful. I love that the gloves tips still allow you to use your phone without taking them off. These gloves were definitely designed well. During the run, the gloves keep my hands warm and there really was minimal sweat on my hands after removing them. The thumb and index finger have the media tactile ability which is surprisingly good. I think these are great gloves… I had tried my daughters pair that had the different grip than these ones and really liked them so ordered these ones so they wouldn ’ t be entirely the same. These ones have dots on the palms instead. I consider myself to have bigger sized hands so sized up to a large. I definitely should ’ ve gotten the med! The fingers are too long for me and look funny to me. So I ’ m definitely just going to exchange for the med! They ’ re very frilly and work great on my iPhone. Just be careful with sizing! Most useful glove I own. I buy back- up pairs for there's always a fresh pair when needed. Do n't get me wrong- they do last a long time, but eventually I will abuse them and a fingertip or 2 will wear out. Then they become work gloves, and a new pair rotates in for the winter backcountry trips. My hands freeze. They 've been damaged over the years of exposure, but the wind- blocking feature of the Stormtrackers works! The dexterity and anatomical fit/articulation are amazing- THANK YOU for making this in a women's version OR! I can easily utilize all my zippers, placing skins on skis, avy transceiver functions, etc on a snowy day without having to bare my fingers to the elements. And they still breathe, so I do n't sweat( and subsequently freeze). I usually do need to switch to insulated gear for the descent, but not always. And if it's a warm uptrack day, I just put the gloves over the pole handles for a comfy, warm, low- profile grip until I need them again. Do n't worry about the zippers- no issues whatsoever with them, and you will forget they 're there. Actually keeps the wrists lower profile than with velcro. Use the little clasp feature to keep them mated when not in use. Leather palms are durable and grippy. The perfect softshell, all- around useful glove!

I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.

Did not expect waterproof of course, but was hoping they would be useful again without a dryer. Taking something else for days long hiking next time, but these are still nice, keeping for different scenarios, hikes closer to home.

[ The fit is a bit small, depending on what you plan on doing with them. I bought these in a women's small. I have small hands; my palm circumference is an even 7 '' and the length of my hand is just less than 7 ''. I 've never previously found a women's small to be at all tight, in fact, sometimes I have to order extra smalls, but these gloves are just a tad bit on the small side. They fit perfectly when my hand is curled, as if you 're holding onto your ski poles or something else, but when I try to stretch my hand as open as possible, it feels just a bit tight in the length. So if you plan on standing around with your hand opened wide and pressed down flat, you should size up. The other issue is the gauntlet sleeve is a little tight/small in circumference-- it's just a bit hard to pull on over a parka sleeve, especiallly if one glove is already on. Also, if you want really fine dexterity, these are too thick for that. I found that while the touchscreen fingers do work fine on my phone and tablet, the difficulty comes in in accuracy, due to the thickness of the gloves. I also found it a little difficult to use a sensitive two button mouse without accidental clicks. However, those things aside, the gloves are very comfy/cozy. The inside lining is soft and I have n't yet noticed sweaty palms. They kept me warm and dry working outside in cold and rainy weather, which is what I bought them for. I would have preferred if the palms had been reinforced with another layer of leather, but so far they seem to be holding up to chopping and stacking wood and other miscellaneous odd jobs around a cabin in the woods when it's cold and rainy. I would imagine these would be good for snowsports as well as winter motorcycling, but again, if you 're looking for really fine touchscreen dexterity, I 'd find a thinner glove that maybe is n't as warm/thick.

I tried on the indigo at Dick's, but wanted the black/grey. They fit my small hands perfect, so soft on the inside. The glove covers my wrist well too. I 'll will have these gloves for years.

My hands are always cold, and I thought it was a good sign that they started warming up just trying on in the store. Hand control is great( I don ’ t like that I can ’ t even feel the steering wheel in my thicker gloves). Can walk and be active in them well

I bought these when the wheatger started changing and I ’ m so glad I did. The grip on the front is super nice and allows me to still do activities without the normal slipping feeling other gloves have. They ’ re also very stylish which is a plus.
