This is by far the best winter beanie out there. One thing to note though, is they are n't messing around when they say' hand wash only'. It will shrink! I can verify that does n't mean the hand wash cycle on your machine either;). Altogether a great purchase, I learned my lesson and bought another one to have for years to come!

It's a thick, warm double knit made from lambswool, and the wide edge is a major factor in why it fits so great and stays in place. It is snug to the head but not tight, so I never have to adjust it. As a Swede myself, I love the logo! I purchased the grey one, and it's a lovely color that goes with everything. I 'll probably purchase another one in a different color, I like it that much.

I purchased this hat about a month ago, and I wear it everywhere every day. It's a light weight hat, but keeps my head extremely warm but not to a point where I need to take it off. I can wear it indoors without my head sweating due to the amazing Merino Wool, or outside in the harsh Minnesota deep freeze we are experiencing and my head remains a perfect temperature. It looks good too. I will absolutely be purchasing another one of these next year but a different color for different occasions!!! Thank you Smart Wool for never disappointing me.

I bought this beanie in various colors because unlike my wool hat, it is washable( washing machine) and foldable. It saves me$ from buying wool cleaners. I 've already washed it a couple of times and it still provides the same warmth as a brand new one. I could just stuff it into my jacket pocket in case of a sudden cold snap.
