My wife and I love this paddle. It has so much better qualities versus our other one. It ’s lighter, it has a larger surface area, it ’s longer, it has a better grip, and it provides a much more solid strike and control of the ball with minimal effort. Kind of like moving from an inexpensive Hyundai to a well equipped Lexus. Both will get you to your place but one will feel and drive so much better than the other. I have been switching between playing with 16mm paddles- Apes Pulse V, Joola Hyperion C2 CFS, Honolulu J3k Pro, Gearbox Pro, Thrive Azul, and 11six24. Bought my daughter a Paddletek ALW for Christmas and I like this one better. This 14mm has been a game changer! Control has improved, more than enough power, and very good pop. Handle width is awesome- no need for overwrap, and have had no need for lead. If I had a complaint the spin is mid- tier. Feels similar to the ALW when playing minus some spin but with a better grip. And the edge guard is shiny, but that might be personal preference.

It took about 5 times playing with it to dial in my ground strokes to have comparable power to my double black diamond, but net play is! 000% more fun with the CFS 14. It is great and picking up low balls when approaching the NVS. Soft game is OK but will be a work- in- progress for me no matter what paddle i use. My old paddle didn ’ t have a large enough sweet spot and I didn ’ t generate enough power. I was turned onto this paddle from a coach at my club and couldn ’ t be happier with my purchase. I ’ ve already played with it for 4 hours and I instantly feel like I ’ m hitting the ball harder and with more top spin action. I was a little fearful of the pop off the paddle but was pleasantly surprised that I wasn ’ t hitting the ball out at all despite the increase in ball speed. Great touch paddle for me while generating the much needed speed to my game. Definitely happy and recommend.
