[ I really like this paddle. It is built very sturdy but is light weight. It is easy to handle and gives great control. You do n't tire out from having a heavy paddle. The handle is very comfortable and is a great fit. I would definitely recommend this paddle.

[ I absolutely love how lightweight the carbon fiber paddle is. The structure of the paddle is very strong without the weight to tire out my arms and I was able to play longer games with this paddle. The grip of the paddle provides a better control and comfort.

Overall the 505 has been an excellent paddle for me, I have used this paddle for two years as this is my second one. The paddle has great balance and control and the long handle allows two handed. Backhands, it also has a wonderful grip. I have played with many other popular paddles from different companies and this paddle by far has the best overall qualities of control and power.
5

I 've played with the 505 for about a year. The 505 does many things very well including pop, consistency, leverage, and control. Having played with many of the top brands the thing that sets the 505 apart is its large and consistent sweet- spot. This effects your entire game but for me it tremendously helped with the 3rd/5th/7th shot drops. I believe this is a great paddle for everyone but especially the 3. 5- 4. 0 player trying to progress forward to 4. 5. The paddle produces average spin which I think is actually a positive for this level of player, forcing them to focus on form and consistency over creating MAD spin. I coach and play at 5. 0. Thanks, GAMMA, for another great paddle!

The Franklin Dynasty12 FeatherWeight is my lightest and most favorite paddle to date. As an Advanced Intermediate Women in early 60s I love the longer handle for a two handed backhand, and the elongated head for a larger sweet spot. As it ’s the lightest weight it feels less like a club and more like an extension of my arm. The light weight is providing head speed at the kitchen for inevitably fire fights while allowing me the opportunity to control the kitchen line by slowing the rally down. The only issue right now? I can ’ t find it in the Sky Blue one to buy.

Scott D.
I love this paddle. It's super light so it makes it easy during a hands battle. It has a lot of pop for a thin paddle and has great control for drinking. I highly recommend this paddle. I could n't put the ball away with my previous paddle, but I have no problems with this Franklin paddle.

Bought this paddle a week ago& it has been amazing. I am an 83 year man that was searching for a paddle with power, touch& effective at the kitchen. This is it! I ’ ve had 6 other popular paddles but the Seneca just gives me confidence that I can compete against the young, the banger& the dinker. I ’ ve also added 3 different serves a top spin, a slice& high lob. It ’s been great& the price was excellent. Joola is a winner!!

I have been loving my new paddle, strong, light weight, plus I grew up on Seneca lake 😊. I ’ m very new to the game but I have been enjoying it. Meeting new people, an opportunity to be silly and joke, especially when I make a fool of myself. Haha I have truly enjoyed the experience and it ’s a great paddle to work with.

I have recently started playing pickleball. The first time I borrowed a paddle from the club, but soon decided to buy my own paddle. The Seneca is a great paddle to play with, both as a beginner and an experienced player. The carbon drive surface gives me the feeling of having control over the game. I already knew Joola from the time that I was active in table tennis myself. Even then I chose Joola as a reliable partner for my equipment. I hope that pickleball will grow into a full- fledged sport in the Netherlands in the coming years with multiple indoor and outdoor courts and locations.

I love the light head and speed of this paddle. It took about 5 times playing with it to dial in my ground strokes to have comparable power to my double black diamond, but net play is! 000% more fun with the CFS 14. It is great and picking up low balls when approaching the NVS. Soft game is OK but will be a work- in- progress for me no matter what paddle i use. For reference, I 'm an old(.> 70) 3. 5 female ex- singles- tennis player. Note that I bought this from a friend who thought it lacked the power of her Selkirk paddle.

OK, so I 'm a pickleball fanatic... a cross- over after 65 years of playing tennis. I know what it takes to deliver power, spin, and touch from the backcourt, and from the net. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

This was my first higher end paddle. It gave me more power, control, and speed at the net during hands battles. It helped compete at a much higher level. It is incredibly durable and has held up very well for 200+ games. I would highly recommend it.

I play both singles and doubles and this was the first paddle that worked for both. I 've had this paddle for about a year now and love it, it's the perfect amount of speed and control for my playing style. If you are looking for more speed or more control, I would recommend upgrading to the Premier Pro Carbon which is also a really nice paddle.

I got the red lightweight Onyx Evoke paddle. It weighs 7. 7 oz and is heavier( and more top heavy) than my lightweight Selkirk. I love the tennis- handle shape of the grip; however, the padding on the grip is very thin and can get uncomfortable. If Onyx can figure out how to give some more grip padding without adding more weight and circumference to the grip, they 'll have a true winner.

This Wilson Pickleball Paddle boasts an appealing design and all the necessary characteristics to enjoy the game for non- pro players. The price point may be considered a tad steep, given the available alternatives. While the product is made in the USA, I expected a slightly higher quality of materials, especially considering the premium associated with the brand. Despite this, the paddle's overall performance aligns with Wilson's reputation for creating solid sports equipment. Wow! I have been playing pickleball for about 3 years. I do it for fun- nit competition but this year... maybe. I have a small hand and live the grip material. My hand does not sweat holding the grip and we play 1 and 1/2 hours 3X weekly. The paddle is balanced and lightweight but fierce. Long shots, dinks, cross- court for serves or returns- great. I used a friends before I bought it for it is a little pricey but worth it. I saw in the picture that it was pink but it isn ’ t. It is more if a mauve. That has nothing to do with performance so 5 stars!

The Selkirk Vanguard Control Epic is a game- changer for players seeking precision and finesse on the court. As someone with a tennis background, I immediately appreciated the paddle ’s design and functionality, particularly its unique head shape. The paddle offers what feels like an oversized sweet spot, providing reliable performance even on off- center hits—a feature that stands out during fast- paced exchanges. Where the Vanguard Control Epic truly shines is in its control, particularly for dinks, resets, and drops. These shots form the foundation of pickleball, and this paddle elevates their consistency. Its ability to “ shape ” shots, creating topspin or a dipping trajectory, is unmatched. I ’ ve never hit such a high percentage of successful third- shot drives until I started using this paddle. It reminds me of the precision you ’ d get with a tennis racket—almost like “ catching ” the ball on the strings and directing it exactly where you want. The paddle also accommodates my two- handed backhand effortlessly, thanks to its comfortable handle length. This design detail makes it versatile for players who rely on power and control with both hands. For me, this paddle feels like a wizard ’s wand—it offers incredible accuracy and control, which I value as a 4. 5/5. 0 player. If there ’s a potential drawback, it ’s in the power department. This paddle is tailored more for control players than power hitters. That said, its balance of spin, placement, and accuracy makes it an exceptional all- around option. In conclusion, the Selkirk Vanguard Control Epic is a must- try for players who prioritize precision, spin, and touch. Whether you 're hitting a perfect drop or shaping a topspin drive, this paddle will elevate your game. Highly recommended!
