The length is great for quick hands up at the kitchen and for the hard to reach defense shots that make you take a step back or lean just out of reach. The shorter handle works for me. My only complaint I 'd like for Onix to upgrade the handle strength and overall materials for the core of the C1 Summit. This shape and style of paddle could easily compete against the quality paddles of Selkirk Vanguard and the Paddletek Bantam and Tempest. Onix team, if your listening, I hope that this is something being discussed for future development, I 'd be happy to be an ambassador for this style of paddle, I 'm looking to start competing this year in NC and hopefully other states as well. Mine came in at 7. 7 oz so i had to buy a pack of 3g lead bars to build up to 8. 9, stock form is unplayable bc its too light, in stock form i would swing fast but ball deflected slowly, end cap weights are a must have, its unplayable without either the 6g or 9g end cap, the sound on contact is high pitch, nice and loud, i added 9g on each side and 9g on top, poppy with nice control, theres is a good amount of vibration due to thin core but I view this as a good thing because there's tactile feedback for dinks, i prefer this 10mm core to the 15mm and 16mm cores on my other paddles.

My wife and I love this paddle. It has so much better qualities versus our other one. It ’s lighter, it has a larger surface area, it ’s longer, it has a better grip, and it provides a much more solid strike and control of the ball with minimal effort. Kind of like moving from an inexpensive Hyundai to a well equipped Lexus. Both will get you to your place but one will feel and drive so much better than the other. Now the question of how much usage will I get with the new paddle as my wife has claimed it as hers.

I especially like 2 things about this Paddle: 1. the Graphite surface is unpainted and seems to give me better control of the Ball 2. It has a surprisingly thick handle that works well for me even though I do n't have large hands.

I am a beginner( 5 months) on Pickleball and always had crappy paddles. I decided to go big with the Head Extreme Tour without knowing how it would be compared to the crappy ones I had. I really like the feel of the grip. I have a bit more control but not a lot of power, compared to the crappy ones. Better spin better control more handle feels much better. Highly recommend buying added a little lead to the bottom of paddle made the sweet spot bigger.

The ball doesn ’ t jump off the paddle as much compared to my other paddle, so I like it for dink or short shots. When it was time to smash the ball, I liked using it because of the longer handle. I finally got to play with this paddle after it arrived two weeks ago. This thing is awesome. Very light weight yet sturdy when you hit the ball. This has a sweet spot all over and I have yet to find a dead spot. All the other players took turns use the paddle. They were all amazed what a difference this makes versus a beginner paddle.

Compared to the JOOLA Ben Johns Hyperion CAS 16 Paddle( which my neighbor purchased, and that I was looking into before I found this) its a tad lighter, and the handle on the Vision is smaller in diameter. I 'm a young guy and I much preferred the less thick handle, however my neighbor said that since he's old he like the thicker handle. Just something to be aware of if you 're looking to buy one of these paddles. Otherwise it has thus far been really fun and easy to play with. Also, because the handle is made of a leathery substance, my hand gets really sweaty fast, even though it has the perforations.
