This paddle is excellent( in my opinion) for anyone who's coming from the tennis side of things and finds the airflow around the traditional pickleball paddle shape to be odd. In addition, the shape is better for those tennis players who are using to having some bulk on the edges. It's really all about shape and airflow and this paddle kills it in those regards. The sweetspot is n't as strong as the Hyperion or other Ben John's style paddles, for sure, but this is more comfortable for me. Bit pricey, but success ai n't cheap.

New to pickle, over the past 2- 3 months. Played with your run of the mill 2- pack paddle. Upgraded to this bad boy…and let me tell you, it is epic! I ’ m a newb, but love it. No idea about what type of fancy features you ’ re looking for but…it is light, slaps hard, moves fast through the air. Longer handle might take a little bit to get used to but overall I feel like I will play even better with this puppy. Enjoy!

I started with a midrange carbon- faced paddle, then moved to the Selkirk LUXX S2 after two years, and the change made a remarkable improvement in my ability to control the ball. I still lacked power( but valued control), so I got this AMPED Pro Air Epic. It took me all of one game to regain control, but I noticed significant gain in power and speed.
