I bought this 6 months ago and have playing with it non stop. I 'm about a 4. 5 in skill level and can just about place the ball how ever I want to. I love the shape and style of the paddle. The length is great for quick hands up at the kitchen and for the hard to reach defense shots that make you take a step back or lean just out of reach. The shorter handle works for me. My only complaint I 'd like for Onix to upgrade the handle strength and overall materials for the core of the C1 Summit. This shape and style of paddle could easily compete against the quality paddles of Selkirk Vanguard and the Paddletek Bantam and Tempest. Onix team, if your listening, I hope that this is something being discussed for future development, I 'd be happy to be an ambassador for this style of paddle, I 'm looking to start competing this year in NC and hopefully other states as well. Even better than the paddle is the customer service. I hear guys talking about other big name manufacturers making them jump through hoops for a warranty claim. Not Onix! They take care of their customers. I contacted them about my issue in the morning, sent in pics of my issue and a new paddle was in my hands 2 days later! Because it is a performance paddle, it comes with a 1 year warranty. I read the review and saw the pics of a guy who broke his handle….. just contact Onix. They will replace it within a year. Overall the 505 has been an excellent paddle for me, I have used this paddle for two years as this is my second one. The paddle has great balance and control and the long handle allows two handed. Backhands, it also has a wonderful grip. I have played with many other popular paddles from different companies and this paddle by far has the best overall qualities of control and power.

I 've played with the 505 for about a year. The 505 does many things very well including pop, consistency, leverage, and control. Having played with many of the top brands the thing that sets the 505 apart is its large and consistent sweet- spot. This effects your entire game but for me it tremendously helped with the 3rd/5th/7th shot drops. I believe this is a great paddle for everyone but especially the 3. 5- 4. 0 player trying to progress forward to 4. 5. The paddle produces average spin which I think is actually a positive for this level of player, forcing them to focus on form and consistency over creating MAD spin. I coach and play at 5. 0. My first paddle and has been great to learn with. I bought this ladle nexuses it's felt the best in my hand. Other grips were too `` short ''. I do notice that the ball really flies when you hit it off the sweet spot. Off sweet spot hits are a little deader as you would expect. It's nice and light- can play for hours with no fatigue.

OK, so I 'm a pickleball fanatic... a cross- over after 65 years of playing tennis. I know what it takes to deliver power, spin, and touch from the backcourt, and from the net. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

I love the tennis- handle shape of the grip; however, the padding on the grip is very thin and can get uncomfortable. If Onyx can figure out how to give some more grip padding without adding more weight and circumference to the grip, they 'll have a true winner.
