The initial first glance quality of this paddle is pretty high- it ’s beautiful in terms of aesthetics, the grip material on the handle is smooth but still grippy, and the paddle itself is a light sandpaper smooth. It ’s not too heavy that it ’s difficult to hold for long periods of time or too light that it ’s incapable of having some power behind the hits. It feels like the “ just right ” for a beginner player like me that ’s on the smaller side of muscles. I can ’ t speak to whether this is formal professional quality, but as a beginner I ’ m quite pleased with it.

I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing.
