[ The Franklin Signature pickleball paddle offers excellent value for its price. The 13mm core provides a solid blend of power and control, making it great for beginners and intermediate players. [ I ’ ve only recently started playing pickleball and usually just play casually with friends once a week, but I really like this paddle! The feel is solid and well- balanced, giving me good control over my shots. The construction is impressive for the price — lightweight yet sturdy. The handle is comfortable and absorbs impact nicely. It doesn ’ t slip even when my hands get sweaty, which is a huge plus. The paddle face has a light texture that provides a good grip on the ball, making spin easier to generate. The sweet spot is forgiving, and the paddle ’s response feels crisp without being too stiff. Overall, it ’s a fantastic upgrade for any beginner moving toward intermediate play. I ’ m really happy with it.

Looked up reputable pickleball paddle brands and Joola was one of them. Happy to see Joola was carried at Dicks. With so many choices, had to consult Google on what to look for and how his one fit the bill. Planning on playing more so a little investment now seemed right. Played once so far and the shot control was noticeably better. Happy with the purchase.

I love that I can hold it like a table tennis racket and it has a shorter handle so I 'm not wasting space. ... The longer shape gives me extra reach without feeling

Ronald
I bought this 6 months ago and have playing with it non stop. I 'm about a 4. 5 in skill level and can just about place the ball how ever I want to. I love the shape and style of the paddle. The length is great for quick hands up at the kitchen and for the hard to reach defense shots that make you take a step back or lean just out of reach. The shorter handle works for me. My only complaint I 'd like for Onix to upgrade the handle strength and overall materials for the core of the C1 Summit. This shape and style of paddle could easily compete against the quality paddles of Selkirk Vanguard and the Paddletek Bantam and Tempest. Onix team, if your listening, I hope that this is something being discussed for future development, I 'd be happy to be an ambassador for this style of paddle, I 'm looking to start competing this year in NC and hopefully other states as well. C2 Summit?...... One can only hope!

For me the paddle seems to have a very good balance on control and power. Compared to my other paddles, the ball seems to stay on the paddle longer for better control of your shots. You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing. They are definitely one of the brands that seems they could make big waves in the industry. So, all that to say I like this paddle because I feel different playing with it. Something about holding volcanic rock in your hands is just... cool! It performs on par with the other paddles on the court but the feeling it brings me is unique and different. It just so happens my game is unique and different too so it's a good match:)

I bought my first Vanguard 2. 0 Epic a couple of years ago, to upgrade from my Amped Epic( which I loved as a' starter' paddle). I only switched because the reviews of the 2. 0 piqued my interest in more control. It literally transformed my game, though sacrificing power( not my game) for much better touch on my dinks and lobs. I realized I had worn enough grit off the surface to warrant a new paddle. I 've looked at the Power Air, but this 2. 0 Epic is still the paddle for me. It's all around performance is 5 Star in my book.

This paddle delivers exceptional stock performance, offering remarkable stability paired with impressive power. There is absolutely no need for aftermarket weighted tape or clips. The tapered shape and generous handle length make it perfect for two- handed backhands, while the aerodynamic curved top and lightweight design ensure a incredibly fast feel in hand. Touch around the kitchen is excellent. While the raw power requires a slight drilling adjustment, having that extra power when needed is a massive asset. The unique construction significantly dampens vibrations. You can truly pull this paddle right off the shelf and play at an optimal level.

I ’ ve been using the Hype X paddle for a few days now, and it ’s honestly taken my game to another level. The feel off the paddle is super clean — every shot just pops the way I want it to. It ’s lightweight but still solid enough to drive the ball with real power. What surprised me most is the control — I ’ m placing dinks and drops with way more confidence. If you ’ re serious about improving, this paddle ’s a game- changer!

PickleMatt
Been playing with the Hype X for a bit now and I ’ m really liking it. The feel is super solid — nice and responsive without being too stiff. There ’s a noticeable pop that makes drives and quick shots feel really satisfying. It ’s also got a good balance — doesn ’ t feel too heavy but still gives you something behind the ball. Definitely feels like an upgrade without trying too hard. Just a good paddle that plays well.

I am relatively new to the sport — I am still expanding my knowledge on paddle tech and experimenting with the range of Onix paddles. I must say, I love playing with the Onix Hype X! In the few short lessons that I have had, this paddle has helped increase spin and control for me. It's helped make me more confident in my game. I also love the fact that it has an approachable price point and has helped me convinced me to get my friends into it, too!!:)

This Wilson Pickleball Paddle boasts an appealing design and all the necessary characteristics to enjoy the game for non- pro players. The price point may be considered a tad steep, given the available alternatives. While the product is made in the USA, I expected a slightly higher quality of materials, especially considering the premium associated with the brand. Despite this, the paddle's overall performance aligns with Wilson's reputation for creating solid sports equipment. For players seeking a combination of style and functionality, the Wilson Pickleball Paddle remains a nice choice.

Best paddle I have ever used! ... I 'm very pleased with the performance and I really like the paddle shape, handle length, and grip. ... Not just that it is heavy( 8. 5oz is a lot for a stock paddle), but that it is so top heavy

This is my first paddle with a 16MM core and Carbon Fiber face and my first impressions of this paddle are very positive. The stability is outstanding and the control and spin are excellent as well. I 'm very pleased with the performance and I really like the paddle shape, handle length, and grip. My only issue is with the white grip because it gets discolored from dirt and sweat. Overall I highly recommend this paddle.

Love this paddle. I 've tried many paddles for months at a time each( Vanguard Selkirks, Flight Ovation etc). With this paddle, there is no such thing as a miss- hit. It just does n't happen. This thing feels lux. Amazing sweet spot. The 16mm gives it perfect control and the core gives it power when you want it( pretty rare IMO to find a paddle that rides the line of doing both of these jobs really well instead of only one and the other suffering). The CF face makes the spin on this thing incredible. I use a lot of spin in my game and this is perfect for me. The only downside is the weight. Not just that it is heavy( 8. 5oz is a lot for a stock paddle), but that it is so top heavy specifically. Feels like all the weight is on the top ridge of the paddle. This also makes it so that I do n't want to add lead on the throat which is what I usually would do because I do n't want to increase the weight even more. I 'm used to a lighter paddle so this is obviously a preference thing, if you are used to heavier paddles than this will be a seamless transition. But man, it really takes some getting used to for hands- battles. I 'm going to keep it for now because the pros outweigh the only con. I put an overgrip on mine and it is perfect.

No paddle is going to make or break your game, but this one feels really good. The face grips the ball and it feels like it imparts more spin. It doesn ’ t feel as heavy as the actual weight. The initial over grip needs to be replaced within a couple of hours. As expressed in a previous review it becomes stained and mine started to slip. Since I planned to customize the grip anyway this doesn ’ t present a deal breaker.

I feel in love with the CRBN paddle, because of the recent ban. I decided to try out the CFS 16mm. The first time I play with it, it ’s very forgiving. I Love it. It ’s has great control, good power and enough spin. It ’s a little heavy, but the weight help me control my over swing. It ’s has been 3 weeks, become my favorite paddle. Definitely improve my game overall. Joola keep up the good work.

This paddle is much better than the 1st Paddle that I bought. 1. All shots feel solid with this Joola. Any shots outside my 1st Paddle ’s sweet spot seemed to die. 2. The grip on this Joola feels really good to hold. My 1st Paddle ’s grip just did not feel right. My 1st purchased Paddle had good reviews and cost$ 90 but just did not perform well. The Joola is much more expensive but is night and day better than the 1st Paddle that I bought.

This is a good all- around paddle and will serve you well if it ’s a good fit for your style. I like something with a little more power, but still giving me a lot of control for a short game. When searching for the best composite pickleball paddle, consider features such as the paddle's weight, grip size, and the materials used in its construction. A well-balanced paddle typically combines a lightweight design with a composite face for enhanced power and control. Additionally, look for paddles with a larger sweet spot, as this can improve your overall performance on the court.
The weight of a composite pickleball paddle plays a crucial role in your performance. Lighter paddles offer increased maneuverability and quicker reactions, making them ideal for fast-paced games. Conversely, heavier paddles can provide more power and stability, which may benefit players who prefer a stronger hitting style. It's important to choose a weight that feels comfortable and suits your playing style.
Composite pickleball paddles are typically made from a combination of materials, including polypropylene cores and composite or fiberglass faces. These materials work together to provide a balance of power, control, and durability. The choice of materials can significantly impact the paddle's performance, so it's essential to consider how they align with your playing preferences.
Yes, the shape of a composite pickleball paddle can greatly influence its playability. Common shapes include wide body designs, which offer a larger sweet spot for better ball contact, and tear drop shapes that concentrate power for more aggressive shots. Choosing the right shape can enhance your control and overall game performance.
Grip size is an important factor in choosing a composite pickleball paddle, as it affects your comfort and control during play. A proper grip size allows for better handling and reduces the risk of slipping during intense matches. It's recommended to try different grip sizes to find one that feels secure and comfortable in your hand.
Yes, many composite pickleball paddles are designed for versatility and can be used for both indoor and outdoor play. However, it's important to consider the specific conditions of each environment, such as the type of ball used and the playing surface. Some paddles may perform better in certain settings, so checking the manufacturer's recommendations can be helpful.
Composite pickleball paddles generally offer several advantages over wooden paddles, including improved power, control, and durability. The advanced materials used in composite paddles allow for better responsiveness and a larger sweet spot, enhancing overall performance. Additionally, composite paddles tend to be lighter, making them easier to handle during extended play.
To determine the right size and fit for a composite pickleball paddle, consider both the paddle's weight and grip size. The paddle should feel comfortable and balanced in your hand, allowing for easy maneuverability. It's also beneficial to test different paddles to find one that complements your playing style and provides the best control during gameplay.
