Played recreationally a lot of ping pong as a kid and some tennis and racquetball so went for the shape which is similar. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

Onix team, if your listening, I hope that this is something being discussed for future development, I 'd be happy to be an ambassador for this style of paddle, I 'm looking to start competing this year in NC and hopefully other states as well. You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing. They are definitely one of the brands that seems they could make big waves in the industry. So, all that to say I like this paddle because I feel different playing with it. Do n't get me wrong, my first paddle was decent as well, but as my game has progressed and started understanding my style of play, I needed a paddle that catered to it.
