Overall the 505 has been an excellent paddle for me, I have used this paddle for two years as this is my second one. The paddle has great balance and control and the long handle allows two handed. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing. I finally got to play with this paddle after it arrived two weeks ago. This thing is awesome. Very light weight yet sturdy when you hit the ball. This has a sweet spot all over and I have yet to find a dead spot. All the other players took turns use the paddle. They were all amazed what a difference this makes versus a beginner paddle.
