I have been using the Evoke Premier Pro Raw Carbon Pickleball for rec play as well as tournament play. The paddles plays very nicely. It has a very large sweet spot and has the raw carbon face which allows you to add an enormous amount of spin to the ball. Bought this paddle in Dec 2021 to replace a less expensive paddle my daughter permanently borrowed. I was an advanced beginner at the time. This paddle has grown with me over the months. I am now ranked at 3. 5. I 've tried several other paddles over the months, but none quite delivers in ball control and large sweet spot. This is most helpful up at the net, ball speed, and with shot placement. I also now appreciate the grip which holds up better than most, with no stickiness. The C45 as received felt good, but I felt it could be a tad better. I added about 2grams of weight at 10- and 2- o'clock, and now it feels practically perfect for swing weight, balance, and overall weight. I 've played as well as I ever have with this paddle.
