Bought this as a weight for a spoon. Using 8ft of leader between the two items. Convenient eyes on either end for tying it together. Seems to do the job.

Have used similar sinkers for years. Actively searched many bait& tackle stores as well as Dick ’s, Sports Authority etc. for these without success. Found some with fins, but not 3& 4 ounces. I use these for cut bait fishing from shore. They pick- up less weeds. I was really surprised that Eagle Claw is making the product and that Dick ’s is selling them. Great product for casting from shore. Completely satisfied!

3/4 oz sinkers are commonly used in various fishing techniques to help cast bait or lures further into the water. They provide the necessary weight to keep the bait submerged and stable in currents, making them ideal for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. Anglers often use these sinkers for bottom fishing, trolling, or when fishing in windy conditions.
3/4 oz sinkers are usually made from materials such as lead, which is favored for its density and ability to sink quickly. Some sinkers may also be made from alternative materials like tungsten or steel, which offer different benefits such as reduced environmental impact or increased sensitivity. The choice of material can affect the sinker's performance and suitability for specific fishing conditions.
Choosing the right type of 3/4 oz sinker depends on your fishing style and the conditions you'll be facing. Consider factors such as water depth, current strength, and the type of bait or lure you plan to use. Different sinker designs, such as bank or egg shapes, can also influence how the sinker performs in various environments.
While 3/4 oz sinkers are versatile and can be used in many fishing scenarios, their effectiveness may vary based on specific conditions. They are particularly useful for bass fishing, bottom fishing, and trolling, but may not be ideal for ultra-light fishing or very shallow waters. It's important to match the sinker weight to your fishing technique and target species.
The performance of 3/4 oz sinkers can be influenced by several factors, including water conditions, the type of fishing line used, and the specific rigging technique. Additionally, the shape and design of the sinker can affect how it interacts with the water and the bait presentation. Understanding these factors can help you optimize your fishing setup for better results.
