Love the jacket and its very stylish but the pockets do n't have zippers or a button so your phone will fall out. I have had an iphone 10 and a samsung s24 and both of them are always falling out. I 've had many UA cage jackets, but this is by far, the best! Adding the hood is a great idea, but I 've always longed for pockets; Bam! Pockets! Every cage jackets, short of long sleeved, needs pockets! The only thing that has me a little confused is the option to cut off the long sleeves; cover to short sleeve. I like the idea, but I 'm not about to cut up a high quality jacket. Why not just add zippers to the sleeves so that they need taken off/on as one pleases? It's make more sense and functional.

I REALLY like this jacket. The material is so light for a rain jacket/wind breaker. I wouldn ’ t recommend it in heavy rain, but lighter rain yes. But it packs down so small it ’s easy to stick in your vest or just wear with the backpack straps on it so it ’s there if any wind or storms pop up.

[ The Nike Swift Women's Repel Packable Running Jacket comes out of the package sleek and ready to go. The sleeves are roomy enough to slide on without fighting a watch band and fall just past my wrists. A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

[ Let me start off my saying i totally love this jacket. It is for my 8 year old son. He ’s average height for his age and this jacket fits him a little loose. Which is fine for me since he can easily wear it over a sweatshirt. The design is relatively basic yet classic at the same time. Black with white can never go out of style. One of the great features of this jacket is the ribbed cuffs by the wrist. Although the arm length is a little long this feature stops the sleeve from going over the hand. The hood is a nice size and easily covers the entire head and face. So far we have used it in light rain and it has kept him totally dry. The material is soft. Its not too heavy but provides great protection from the wind and rain. Its light weight and very comfortable as well. Its my sons go to jacket when he leaves the house for most off the fall season. Hes only had it for a few weeks so far but the material has held up great. No signs of wear. Its pretty easy to clean. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone with kids. Its stylish and very practical for a very reasonable price. I would definitely buy again and plan on getting more in the future.

[ So I just want to start out by saying that it ’s way too warm for me to wear this out and about right now, but it will definitely be a staple once the weather cools down. It ’s such a lightweight jacket with snap enclosures where the pockets are which is a nice little throwback feature that you don ’ t see often in jackets. I got a medium and I love that it ’s a little oversized, but not too large so as to where you ’ re drowning. I love that the outside of the jacket gives windbreaker material, but the inside doesn ’ t meaning you won ’ t sweat at all in it like a typical windbreaker. I personally love this jacket and can ’ t wait for it to cool down so I can wear it somewhere other than inside my house.

It ’s amazing for gym workouts/running AND I ’ ve worn it over scrubs to work for a fashionable twist. The length of this jacket is perfect to keep me cozy during my warmup without restricting any movement at the hips( IYKYK), and it ’s breathable enough to throw over my sweaty top for my drive home. For reference, I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” with a shorter torso and it sits ~3 ” above my crotch. But honestly my favorite part is the pockets: they ’ re deep, they ’ re roomy, and they ’ re sewn at a steep angle so my belongings aren ’ t constantly sliding out when I lay down or lean over. The fabric isn ’ t perfect for me, as movements can be a bit loud( think noisy rain jacket) when I ’ m trying to examine a sleeping patient or steal a cookie from the nurse ’s station, but that also makes me think it ’ ll be pretty water resistant. I( luckily) haven ’ t had any rain recently to test that feature out. Overall, I ’ m really happy with this multipurpose jacket and I ’ m really excited to get some good use out of it.

I have 5 days of skiing on the jacket in weather from sunny/warm to heavy snow. The fabric breathability is perfect for sidecountry/in- bounds skiing, but a touch heavy if you 're looking for a backcountry jacket. Great windproofing while still breathing. I am 5'11, 165lbs, with broad shoulders. I bought the medium and it can be worn with a puffy underneath comfortably. Not baggy, but still free range of movement. A touch more room on the shoulders would have suited me a bit better. There are a ton of useful pockets, no shortage. Zippers are easy to access, pit zips are a bit cumbersome however. Velcro on the cuffs is easy to adjust with different gloves.

It ’s been since 2019 since I ’ ve had a jacket I ’ ve loved this much, happy to have been brought together. Oh, also very tough, and seems to be brought back to looking like new after a month or so of outdoor living.

I have had a stretch down pullover hoody for about a year but wanted one that had a zipper. I found this fabric to be high quality and have never had any issues with tears. It does stretch but I wear mine fairly baggy so it does n't get tested. Its super light and you can stuff it almost anywhere. It feels like a windbreaker but it does hold some heat. I 'm a moderately heavy build and I do prefer slightly cooler temps than the average person. I feel comfortable wearing a t- shirt and this as long as its above maybe 25 or above for relatively short periods of time( hour or less). I live in central NC and on the rare occasion its colder than that, I reach for my regular stretch down hoodie. I do sorta wish it had a drawstring on the bottom but not a deal breaker.

[ The jacket was awesome as it is super lightweight and breathable. The thinness is great for running in the elements yet still soft on your body. It has a great design that is thin, breathable, and has front pockets. It also has reflective print on chest, arms, and back. Along with breathable flaps on chest and back that make it easy to run in the wind or rain. I also like the addition of the hoodie which had a toggle string to tighten to your liking. The fabric what breathable yet soft and had a flowing feel to it. It surprisingly can hold up to elements like wind and rain when running short or long distances. The jacket was great I would love to have one that was a tad bit thicker for running in cold weather. Overall it was well made and I liked the reflective pieces and toggle on the hoodie which the most!

With this jacket being super lightweight, I can walk with speed in the sunlight and use the hood on the jacket instead of a hat! I 've been an avid backcountry skier for over a decade and this will be my first season guiding, so insulating jackets are usually put to good use. In the PNW the temps can get very cold but are generally moderate compared to somewhere further inland, so sometimes a 'light' puffy is just what you need. I ordered a medium and found the fit to be good- a little loose in the chest but great length( which is usually my issue with mediums; I 'll order larges just to get longer sleeves). Love the elastic sleeves on this jacket- not too tight but secure and can still stretch over gloves, watches, etc. My general experience with stretch down has been very positive; mostly due to the added durability. I 'm not afraid to brush up against trees or rocks, carry firewood, or set this jacket down on a rough wooden bench. The pockets are roomy and do n't snag as much as other jackets I 've owned, and the fact that this packs into its own pocket makes it easy to pack along on backcountry trips. I think the versatility and durability of this jacket makes it a great jack- of- all- trades for the multi- sport athlete and a solid addition to a ski bum's jacket collection.

I ’ m a backcountry Ski Patroller that teaches Outdoor Emergency Care and Avalanche Classes in the Rocky Mountains. I need my gear to perform both while patrolling and teaching classes, which usually involves temperature extremes and a lot of transitions between high output activities like skinning and digging and rest periods during transitions and lecture/discussion. I also need gear that is durable and can withstand several days in a row of use and abuse. The Stretchdown light jacket has turned into an everyday staple for me whether I ’ m on the hill or just heading into town. This good looking jacket has the warmth of a normal down jacket without the swishy noises or constricting fit that I ’ ve found in some others. It moves with me while I ’ m skinning or shoveling and, as with most down jackets, this one packs up small so I can easily stash it in my pack when I get warm. I ’ m usually a fan of hoods on most of my jackets, but as a layering piece in the field I actually really like that this one doesn ’ t have a hood, so it has a slimmer profile under my shell and is less bulky. I think this jacket is a great choice for someone looking for a lower profile down jacket for winter layering while skiing, snowshoeing, etc. that can also be worn as an outerwear piece that is comfortable and stylish in the spring/fall. Because of its weight and packability, it ’s a great choice for camping or backpacking year round, too.

I am an adventure supervisor at a therapeutic boarding school in Northwest Montana, and I use this jacket to lead hiking, biking, and climbing trips in cool temperatures. I also took this jacket camping with me in Glacier National Park when the temperatures got down into the teens, so I was able to compare its warmth to some of my other jackets. Although it loses some of its warmth without a hood, it kept me surprisingly warm in those low temps. Overall, however, I found that the biggest positive to this jacket is the durable material! The stretchdown feels more resistant to nicks and tearing, and I can see this jacket lasting a long time. It's also a plus for me that the down is RDS certified-- yay for animal welfare! I would not bring this as my only puffy jacket when backpacking because I would need the extra warmth that a hood brings. However, this layer would be really great for climbing in moderately cool temperatures because of how durable the material would be on the rock, or as a bonus layer to stuff in a pack for a little extra warmth. I gave this jacket four stars, mostly because of the fit. I am 5' 5 '', 120lbs, and I ordered a small because I normally like to layer underneath my puffy jackets. However, a small is too big on me even with layers underneath, and it also has a boxy fit around the shoulders. I would order an XS next time for sure!
