I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. I recently got the Ping G440 LST driver 9* with a Ventus TR black 6X shaft. My swing speed is around 115 and I play to about a 5 handicap for reference. I had been gaming the Callaway AI Smoke TD with same shaft. I had always enjoyed Ping woods in the past but had strayed away from them in the past 3- 4 years. I am so happy I went back. The feel of this driver is great. For a “ low spin ” head, it is very forgiving. Simply as I can say it, it is easier to hit. I received the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII Driver for Christmas 2023. I have been using it for two months and I love it. The all Titanium head has a great sound and feel. I get a lot of carry from the LS model and when the ball lands it bounds forward with plenty of roll out. The driver is plenty forgiving, too. For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! Best driver that I ’ ve owned hands down! I was a Taylormade loyalist for years going all the way back to the bubble shaft LOL. Switched to the Callaway AI Smoke Triple Diamond Max last year. It was a great club, but the Elyte version is simply better. My SS is only about 97 or 98 right now. I ’ m hitting this thing consistently over 260 on a good strike with 149 mph ball speed. I switched from the MMT 55g reg flex to the Tensei AV series blue 55g stiff flex. I ’ m even getting 250+ out of off center strikes( launch monitor validated). I ’ m glad that I took advantage of the 50% trade in bonus. Consistent forgiveness, straight,& long. What more could you ask for?

This is my new favorite club. I went to a demo day not expecting to buy anything but could n't not buy this after hitting it. And I 'm not a huge TM driver fan over the last few years( have n't hit the new one though). Easier to hit than a driver, much better control, and goes just about as far. This is a game changer. Went with a 8 degree xtra stiff shaft, and golf is so much more fun now. More fairways hit, miss hits still keep me in play with short chips in. Can ’ t ask for a better all around driver that sounds good, feels good, and looks phenomenal. Actually tested this vs the Qi35 before purchasing and my personal dispersion was tighter with the Qi10. 10/10 recommend.

I have always had a great respect and admiration for Ping as a company and its products! Started with Eye2 and the Zing back in the day. I have had many different Ping products over the years all incredible performers. However I could never get along with the drivers. They either had a look or sound that wasn ’ t appealing or they didn ’ t perform for my swing too much spin, floaty trajectory with no penetration. So for the last almost 4 decades I ’ ve played drivers from various manufacturers recently playing Cobra ’s and Callaway ’s. I ’ m 63 and a competitive golfer. However I was starting to show the effects of age. Swing speed slowing, launch lowering and on our course which is usually soft that was a bad combination. Time to do something. Enter the G430LST! I had heard so many good things about the G430Max10K and its older brother the G430LST that when the opportunity came up to get one at a good price I reluctantly took it. I wasn ’ t really expecting much but was I in for a shock. Right out of the gate the ball jumped off the face with a ferocity I hadn ’ t seen in years. The flight was piercing and landed with the perfect trajectory to maximize roll. Mishits were straight with just a minimum loss of distance and direction. What surprised me the most was the sound! It sounded like a driver instead of an out of tune glockenspiel! Normally a good drive in the past would carry about 240 averaging in the low 230 ’s. Immediately I was averaging in the mid to high 240 ’s with a good drive carrying over 250. Since then I have been working on speed with the Stack system and my good drives are mid 260 ’s. Hopefully carrying 270 by spring. All of this with more fairways hit. Ping! I ’ m back!

My beloved practically insisted that I get this driver after trying during a lesson at GG. Thus far, I am pleased with the purchase even if I do n't have the kind of consistency I believe I will have soon. I like the ability to dial up different setting. As my swing changes, I 'll be able to adjust the bias and loft. Definitely more forgiving than my previous driver.

I was recently fitted for a driver and of all the drivers I hit, including some a few hundred dollars more expensive, this was by far the best feeling, sounding, and straightest. On the course, it just doesn ’ t miss. I ’ m a relatively inconsistent ball striker with the driver and this driver refuses to miss. Tried the G440 Max and I was hitting every shot right. Hit 5 shots with the SFT and all were long on the center line. Bought the 10. 5 with Chrome 2. 0 regular shaft. I 'm 65 with a recent hip replacement. This club is a game changer. Minimal dispersion even on less than perfect strikes. Very straight.

I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.

Then, I played a round with it and found that the vast majority of my drives stayed on the fairway. Before, many of my drives were a bit in the rough.
