I have been wearing the Devotion X for a few years now, but, as shoes with cushiony midsoles do n't maintain support for very long, and the turnover rate is high, I have been looking for a shoe that is, at least, more environmentally friendly. While the eco creds on this shoe are not high, they are, at least, a step in the right direction. They seem to fit and perform just as well as the Devotion X, so I 'm happy with them. I hope that Ryka will continue to develop shoes that use recycled materials, will last longer, or, better yet, can be part of a closed- loop system( reclaimed by Ryka or compostable). Ultimately, these shoes are wide enough for my toes( I ordered a wide width) and provide the cushioning and stability I need to abate my hip arthritis symptoms, while also helping me feel a bit better, environmentally, about my purchase.

Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It's too late to return them because I 've already worn them outside for a run, but they are great for just wearing around. I guess I 'll need to order a 3rd pair of my new favorite shoes!!

I 'm usually standing in one place and shifting my weight back and forth. It has caused me foot problems. I was fitted for these in a NB store in Winston- Salem, NC and immediately took them to a vacation walking around Yellowstone for a week. I thought I needed arch support more than anything, but these solved literally all the issues I had been having with my feet recently. They withstood this test and then some. I slide them in my golf shoes as well as my work and gym shoes, and ideally I will be able to restock on them whenever the 11. 5- 13 size comes back up on this website. Great work NB team!

The insoles are great, easy to trim and fit nicely in my New Balance sneakers. However, the COST for the insoles is as much as the shoe itself. That I found to be excessive. The insoles do not have a 'magic' formula, it is hard rubber. But I feel I paid TWICE for the shoe. One shoe without a proper fitting insole and another insole without the shoe! Next time I will consider Dr Scholl's or another brand for less than the cost of a New Balance sneaker.

I 've been using Superfeet insoles for decades. In ski boots, hiking boots, running shoes, etc. After trying other brands, I 've always come back to Superfeet, with the exception of Sole Performance re- corked medium insoles, but even that's a toss up. Once trimmed, the Superfeet feel good from the start and continue to serve me well for quite some time. I use them for walking distances, standing on my feet all day at work and light hikes. I have other versions of Superfeet, some discontinued, some not, but the winner( for me) is the Superfeet Run Cushion Medium Arch. I use them in Clark's, Adidas and Hoka trail and running shoes. I 'll buy them again, when needed.

I bought these exclusively for my walking shoes that I used on a European trip. Let me just say that these are amazing! Excellent cushion for all day comfort. The heel cup is deep enough to provide the right amount of stability and the arch support is spot on. I also switched them into my running shoes and it ’s like running on a cloud! Best insole replacement I ’ ve found to date.

[ I recently purchased these sandals to replace a pair of Sanuks and am glad I did. These sandals instanstly conform to your feet, provide great traction in wet and dry conditions and look great. If you like to have a little extra space off the front and back of the flip flop size up. I wear a size 9. 5/10, sized these as 10 ’s and my heel is flush with the back of the sole.

I wore Reef Gingers for years and since the style has changed for the worse, I was on what seemed to be an endless search for the perfect black flip flop. These Honu flip flops are sleek and comfortable and look stylish to boot. The only downside is not being able to throw them in the washing machine like I did with the Reefs, but the leather on these is so elegant and the overall look so classy that I do n't mind.
