Swapped into my Air Jordan 1s for extra support. Not too thick that it changes the fit/sizing of the shoe. I have very flat feet so anything with an elevated/lifted heel usually causes back pain( which is why Jordan 1s are my preferred sneaker due to flatness of the shoe) but still needed something with arch support. These have held up after a month of solid work with no complaints. I 've been using Superfeet insoles for decades. In ski boots, hiking boots, running shoes, etc. After trying other brands, I 've always come back to Superfeet, with the exception of Sole Performance re- corked medium insoles, but even that's a toss up. Once trimmed, the Superfeet feel good from the start and continue to serve me well for quite some time. I use them for walking distances, standing on my feet all day at work and light hikes. I have other versions of Superfeet, some discontinued, some not, but the winner( for me) is the Superfeet Run Cushion Medium Arch. I use them in Clark's, Adidas and Hoka trail and running shoes. This is the third pair of battery operated heated insoles I 've owned. They are an indispensable piece of gear that enables me to spend hours outdoors during the long winters in our high mountain climate. I have a condition similar to Raynaud syndrome that leaves my extremities cold all the time. I 've tried wool, sherpa, cashmere all to no avail. When I came upon these I thought I would try them. The family was getting ready for a 2 week trip to Europe. I told them we would be walking 100 miles in 2 weeks, and would need to find great walking shoes. After experiencing heel pain similar to a time where I had plantar fasciitis I immediately scheduled time with a doctor at Twin Cities Orthopedics. He found that while I did not have plantar fasciitis I needed to strengthen my foot muscles& use an insole that would provide better arch support. As a kid, checking cattle on horseback, my toes were frostbitten. Since then, I have used EVERY kind of foot warmer known to man. I received the ActionHeat insoles with remote as a Christmas present. First of all, the instructions for pairing the remote that came with them were not correct. The first time I used them, I did n't realize the remote was n't working and my feet were way too hot. I tried the remote pairing process I found online for a different model and the remote worked as it should( pair one insole at a time while holding power button on the insole and light is flashing, push M on the remote). NOW, for the good part, just yesterday, it was 26 degrees here with the sun shining. I set the insoles on low around 2: 30 pm and went out to burn brush piles. The insoles were still set on low and going strong 7 hours later when I headed to the house at 9: 30 pm. These are my Twin boy's first pair of hiking boots. They are 4 years old and are now growing out of their second pair. They never ever got a blistee even from day one. Never one complaint. These boots are just as comfortable as the adult sizes. They provide great ankle support as well as being waterproof.
