I 've been using Superfeet insoles for decades. In ski boots, hiking boots, running shoes, etc. After trying other brands, I 've always come back to Superfeet, with the exception of Sole Performance re- corked medium insoles, but even that's a toss up. Once trimmed, the Superfeet feel good from the start and continue to serve me well for quite some time. I use them for walking distances, standing on my feet all day at work and light hikes. I have other versions of Superfeet, some discontinued, some not, but the winner( for me) is the Superfeet Run Cushion Medium Arch. I use them in Clark's, Adidas and Hoka trail and running shoes. The insoles are great, easy to trim and fit nicely in my New Balance sneakers. However, the COST for the insoles is as much as the shoe itself. That I found to be excessive. The insoles do not have a 'magic' formula, it is hard rubber. But I feel I paid TWICE for the shoe. One shoe without a proper fitting insole and another insole without the shoe! Next time I will consider Dr Scholl's or another brand for less than the cost of a New Balance sneaker.

Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It's too late to return them because I 've already worn them outside for a run, but they are great for just wearing around. I guess I 'll need to order a 3rd pair of my new favorite shoes!!
