Tore ankle tendons 16 years ago playing college soccer. After rehab ankle was never the same and sonI did n't play for 13 years. In the last three years have tried everything out there and have been able to play thanks to modern tech. The POD is the best and even though it's the most expensive( really$ 70 for a ankle brace if plastic) IT IS WORTH IT! Have full movement and confidence to cut lime I have n't for years.

I purchased this brace from the Dicks store in Boise, as I wanted a replacement for my lace- up brace, which restricts my ankle during sport. I 'm impressed with the freedom of movement, plus the fact that it fits comfortably in my normal shoe. I broke my left ankle 5 years ago and tore all the ligaments off the bone, so am prone to rolling my ankle. My lace up brace was bulky and the nylon slipped in my shoe. I 'd recommend this brace to anybody with existing ankle issues.

[ Does what it needs to do! It ’s very sturdy and keeps my ankle in place. It does take some getting used to, and putting it on was a little harder than I would like( but that may also just be me). I don ’ t think you ’ d be able to wear it with shoes, so as an at home support option it ’s great.

[ Fortunately we haven ’ t had a chance( or injury for that matter) to really test it out. But I wore it around for a day just to get the feel of it and the support it provides is amazing! Someone could easily wear this for everyday wear! It ’s light but structured! It ’s somewhat breathable compared to ones you could get at a major retailer. I love all the flexibility for adjustments as well! My foot is a size 6 in women ’s and my husbands is a mens 11 and it ’s adjustable to enough we could both use it!
