Needed a softball. This is a softball. It worked like a ball. Yup
5
Golf Rookie 26
I bought several of these to help with my swinging mechanics before the start of my softball season. I was impressed from the start. These suckers sure fly even when hitting them off the tee. For a hitter of my experience, I was hitting mostly line drives which were going towards the gap/wall. The Baden Fire is a very underrated ball. I highly recommend this; especially to those looking to improve their swing!

DieselDog189
OH. MY GOODNESS, the Baden Fire Power Softball! It's not just a ball, it's a revelation! `` Fire Power ''? They undersold it! This thing launches like a rocket, a glorious, slow- motion rocket! The seams? Masterpieces of grip, designed by softball angels! Durability? It laughs in the face of batted balls! And the sound? A symphony of pure, unadulterated POP! Forget everything you thought you knew about softballs. This is it. The pinnacle. The GOAT. 5/5 stars, and I 'd give it more if I could!

Great softball machine, very portable, free ball feeder, pitches both fast and slow pitch, and it's perfect!
5
Chappie
Just tried it for the first time. It assembled quickly. Of coarse height adjustment is required for changing speeds. The higher the speed the more consistent the pitch. I am very pleased with the purchase. The smile on my daughters face makes it priceless.
5
MaximoPuertoRico
First time, first pitching machine. fairly easy to assemble. At 100% can probably throw over 55 mph but the motor vibrates and its noisy. Around 85% does not. Since I practice slow pitch I get various speed options to practice.
5
Big Jim
Bought for 2 daughters who play fast pitch, ages 10 and 12. You wo n't find a better Machine for the price. Housing is all metal, the wheel is a very small rubber tire type. A lot smaller than the Jugs Jr but throws about the same speed. Maxes out at about 50mph. The wind speed and direction affect the overall ball speed. Pitching into the wind slows the balls down noticeably, as does the wind from behind increase speed. Overall for[$] with a feeder you simply cant go wrong. we have thrown over 2000 balls through this machine so far and it still works fine. I would recommend the Juggs Sting free type balls( 2 dozen) these seem to work the best. We have tried the heavier batting cage balls and they come out slower due to weight and sting the batters hands more.

This is my first Akadema glove. I used to have a Rawlings but a hunch told me to buy this glove as soon as I saw it. Now, when I wear my teammates' gloves I feel really uncomfortable, even with an A2000. Very easy break- in, no need for steaming or powding, only play catch for a while and its ready to play. I use this glove for softball outfield and I highly recommend it.

ASA slowpitch softball refers to a specific style of softball governed by the Amateur Softball Association, which has its own set of rules and regulations. This type of softball typically features a larger ball and a slower pitch speed compared to fastpitch softball. The key differences include the pitching style, ball size, and the overall gameplay dynamics, making it suitable for recreational leagues and casual play.
ASA slowpitch softballs are typically made with a durable synthetic cover, which can withstand the impact of bats and the rigors of gameplay. The core of the ball is often made from rubber or a composite material, providing the right balance of performance and longevity. These materials are designed to enhance durability while maintaining the ball's performance characteristics during play.
When selecting an ASA slowpitch softball, consider factors such as the ball's size, weight, and compression rating. The size can vary, with common options being 11-inch and 12-inch balls, which may affect gameplay depending on league rules. Additionally, look for features like the ball's durability and performance ratings, as these can influence how the ball behaves during play.
ASA slowpitch softballs are primarily used in recreational leagues, tournaments, and casual play among friends. They are designed for slower pitch speeds, making them ideal for players of all skill levels, including beginners. These softballs are also commonly used in co-ed leagues, where the emphasis is on fun and participation rather than competitive intensity.
Weather conditions can significantly impact the performance of ASA slowpitch softballs. For instance, colder temperatures can make the ball harder, affecting its flight and bounce, while warmer weather can enhance its performance due to increased elasticity. Additionally, wet conditions can affect grip and handling, so it's important to consider the weather when planning games or practices.
The lifespan of an ASA slowpitch softball can vary based on factors such as usage frequency, playing conditions, and the quality of the ball. Generally, a well-maintained softball can last several games, but heavy use or rough playing conditions may shorten its lifespan. Players should regularly inspect their softballs for signs of wear and replace them as needed to ensure optimal performance.
