Great softball machine, very portable, free ball feeder, pitches both fast and slow pitch, and it's perfect!
5

Just tried it for the first time. It assembled quickly. Of coarse height adjustment is required for changing speeds. The higher the speed the more consistent the pitch. I am very pleased with the purchase. The smile on my daughters face makes it priceless.
5
MaximoPuertoRico
First time, first pitching machine. fairly easy to assemble. At 100% can probably throw over 55 mph but the motor vibrates and its noisy. Around 85% does not. Since I practice slow pitch I get various speed options to practice.
5
Big Jim
Bought for 2 daughters who play fast pitch, ages 10 and 12. You wo n't find a better Machine for the price. Housing is all metal, the wheel is a very small rubber tire type. A lot smaller than the Jugs Jr but throws about the same speed. Maxes out at about 50mph. The wind speed and direction affect the overall ball speed. Pitching into the wind slows the balls down noticeably, as does the wind from behind increase speed. Overall for[$] with a feeder you simply cant go wrong. we have thrown over 2000 balls through this machine so far and it still works fine. I would recommend the Juggs Sting free type balls( 2 dozen) these seem to work the best. We have tried the heavier batting cage balls and they come out slower due to weight and sting the batters hands more.

Compared to more expensive machines, you can ’ t go wrong with this one.

USSSA slow pitch softball is a specific format governed by the United States Specialty Sports Association, focusing on slower pitch speeds and unique gameplay rules. This style is distinct from fast pitch softball, where the ball is thrown at higher speeds. The equipment, including bats and balls, is also designed to meet USSSA regulations, ensuring a consistent playing experience.
USSSA slow pitch bats are typically made from a variety of materials, including aluminum, composite, and hybrid constructions. Aluminum bats are known for their durability and performance, while composite bats often provide a larger sweet spot and better energy transfer. Hybrid bats combine elements of both materials to offer players the benefits of each.
When selecting a USSSA slow pitch bat, consider factors such as the bat's length, weight, and barrel size, as these can affect your swing and performance. Additionally, look for features like grip comfort, balance, and the bat's construction material, as these can influence your overall experience during play. It's also important to check for the USSSA certification mark to ensure compliance with league regulations.
Yes, USSSA slow pitch bats come in various styles to cater to different player preferences and hitting techniques. Some bats are designed for power hitters, offering a heavier swing weight, while others are lighter and more balanced for players who prioritize speed and control. Additionally, the barrel length and diameter can vary, allowing players to choose a bat that complements their individual playing style.
The lifespan of a USSSA slow pitch bat can vary significantly based on usage, material, and care. Generally, aluminum bats may last several seasons, while composite bats can have a shorter lifespan due to their construction. Proper maintenance, such as avoiding extreme temperatures and using the bat only for its intended purpose, can help extend its longevity.
