I was in the market for new boots. Heard through the grapevine that i should give this brand a chance. Got them as a gift and i am beyond ecstatic. The boots fit me well( run a little big, but not a con) and the inner sole is almost heavenly. I work in a warehouse where i stand on concrete 8 hours a day. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

They are so comfortable for me I wear them on every job, even sites where steel toes are n't required. There isn ’ t a safety tow booth on the market that is more comfortable, good looking than this one. Yeah people love the moccasin toe, not I. I ’ m a round toe feller. These things are so comfortable. I almost took them to Europe on vacation as my only shoe because I can consistently walk over 12 hours a day on the job site. Note, you do have to break these in. I love these boots. Please never discontinue them. They are comfortable and affordable. I like the way they look as they do n't have any bright orange highlight colors. They also have the four quick lace metal tabs for the laces which I think are a must. I 've bought two pairs in the last two years. My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.

My only gripe is that my little toe on my big ol wide foot hangs just behind the steel toe section. If I kick anything with the toe of the shoe, the steel cap jams into the tip of my little toe. Great boot! Hold up to wear and tear that other high end boots we have bought. My husband can be very hard on his shoes and these are wonderful. He has two pairs in order to alternate and let the other dry out. He is in these all day long.

This is the second pair of carhartt boots I 've purchased. And I 'm liking these boots more than the first. They are super lightweight and equally as comfortable. I have n't had long enough to speak on the durability of this style but if they are like the rest of the carhartt brand I 'm sure I 'll be happy in the long term!

After lots of research I bought these boots for work. I manage small business with a machine and fabrication shop. I work in and out of the office and shop. I needed something that was n't big and clunky, but still protective. Also something that is good for standing on concrete. I have a little consistent knee pain, and wearing these boots helped reduce my pain. I really do n't have any complaints about these boots. Probably my favorite steel toe work boots that I have had.

Great boot. Fits well, good arch support, comfortable. Ca n't speak to durability yet, as I 've not had them long enough, but they seem very well made and I expect them to last. When they do wear out, I 'll be looking for another pair.

These boots and there past versions last a long time. I 've had several pairs over the last 23 years I 've worked roadway construction and they are the only work boots I use. The Vibram soles are the best. Leather is top quality. I replace the insoles yearly.

I work in the Oil and Gas Industry in Northeast PA., I am on my 5th pair of these boots, I get about 1 year out of these boots, which is acceptable to me. I work in mud and water every day and these boots are not babied. They have never ripped or come apart on me, they keep my feet dry. I highly recommend these boots, good job Irish Setter.

Bought 2 pairs of these about six years ago to wear around the barn and working in the woods and running a sawmill. They have been just what my old dogs needed. Comfortable, good support without being tight but easy to slip on and off even with swollen feet at the end of the day. They have been stepped on by horses, had logs dropped on them, been buried in horse manure and mud and yet stayed reasonably waterproof with minimal care. I bought these about 3 weeks ago and immediately appreciated the craftsmanship of the stitching and leather. If you were born in Texas then you need a pair. It's that simple. Also dont make the mistake of wearing them 10 hours the first day when they 're not broken in.
