Been playing for almost 15 years and have not had a iron that checks all the boxes. This is perfect for someone who wants to transition from hollow body irons. Usually, 100% 1020 carbon steel is just for blades until now. You get great forgiveness from a mid handicap standpoint, but when you flush it, it feels unreal. The turf interaction is also fantastic from the sole design on this club. This will be in my bag for years to come.

I had the i210s, which were good. I felt like they had a left- bias and upgraded to the i230's when they came out. The i230's are ridiculously consistent and accurate. But I felt like they flighted too low and were not forgiving enough. I recently upgraded to the i240s. They are a little bit more of a game improvement iron. Maybe the i230's are better for 4 hdcp and better, but as a 7- 9 hdcp, I am really liking the i240s. Compared to the i230s, they have a slightly higher flight and are more forgiving. The slightly larger head and the normal grooves instill more confidence. Maybe they are not as deadly accurate and consistent as the i230s, but I 'm more comfortable with this tradeoff and iron profile. There are a lot of great irons out there, but I have confidence in Ping and they keep rewarding me.

I played Mizuno 921 Forged for two years and loved their feel and workability. But as I have aged, my game has slipped and I wasn ’ t catching that smaller sweet spot from 160 in. Switched to the G430s with regular Alta shafts and Shazam the iron game is back. It took some trial and error with the PW through 58 but the yardage results are tight and satisfying.

Im recently able to play again after a long hiatus. My shots are still left and right. But these clubs cleaned that up a lot. I had a significantly tighter grouping compared to everything else. Just ordered the Ai300 irons with LA 45 shafts. The ball speed, height, forgiveness, spin, and distance were incredible. I also tested the Ai200 irons which were close but not as good for me as the Ai300. The feel was also awesome. There have been 3 game changing irons in my golfing journey. Ping Eye2s, the 1994 Callaway Big Berthas and now the Callaway AI300s. Perfect amount of offset and topline that breeds confidence. You 're not going to work the ball from left to right( for righties) but you can flight the balk.. even for us amateurs. What really sets this set from others is the superior weighting and feel. My set is 2° up and a half inch over standard length. Distance and launch angles were perfect. Traded in T350s for the set.

They were hot off the face but also very forgiving. Obviously not as forgiving as the ZXi4's but they were very easy to hit. I really like how you can feel your misses. Tried these and P790s at Dick ’s. I wanted the P790s but these felt better so I made the leap from Rogue ST Max irons to the ZXi5s for more feedback and feel. After a couple trips to the range to dial these in it was obvious I made the right choice. Learning to hit better irons has shaved 10 legit strokes off my score because they ’ ve forced me to improve my swing to hit these properly and that ’s easy to do. They ’ re very forgiving but mishits will be obvious. Wish I had bought these sooner.

Went and had a custom fitting at 2nd Swing in Minnetonka three weeks ago. These irons were not even on my radar, Drew Bosely, my fitter put these in my hand after swinging the G430 and i530 irons. The trackman confirmed what I felt and saw, the dispersion and accuracy was phenomenal. Played my 1st round with them yesterday and they are as advertised, was pin high with all of my shots at the greens and their stopping power is amazing. If you are in the market for new sticks, try these out and wo n't be disappointed. I 'm a bogey golfer and have no doubt this will help me bring my average score down to the low to mid 80s.

When it comes to golf clubs I ’ m definitely a major gear head lol and this may be the perfect set of game improvement irons and that ’s not something I say lightly. Looks: this is a subjective category but you ’ d be very hard pressed to find a cleaner looking set of game improvement irons. Titleist really nailed the entire T series line this year with a uniform design throughout all the models. Just a clean looking iron that is the perfect shape. Moderate top line and sole thickness and not a huge clunky head that looks like a toaster on a stick. Moderate offset that is definitely playable. I was a little worried seeing these irons online in reviews but I guess the camera really does add 10 lbs lol. These irons look great! Performance: As forgiving as any GI set out there and I ’ ve tried them all 925 Hot Metals, G440s, Elyte, etc. Great trajectory and the proper shaft will make them really perform even better when matched to your swing. I got them with the Nippon 750GH Neo in stiff flex and I get great feel, height and stopping power. These irons are so forgiving I put the 5 iron back in my bag. Sound/Feel: This is another subjective category and each person will like different things. It seems a lot of online reviews have this set as not have the softest feel. Something I ’ ve found in all hollow body designs is that the ball you play can greatly affect this metric. If you pair this with a left dash or pinnacle lol you will definitely get a less than soft sound off the face. However if you use a tour soft, super soft etc it will be great. This is something you have to figure out for yourself and not listen to the online reviews. Price: Yes, they are definitely on the high side, there is no doubt about that but I truly believe you will have this set for years so that will even out over time. I decided to pull the trigger on these after testing a lot of irons. I was very close to getting the Mizuno JPX 925 Hot Metals but I just could not get over the looks( personal preference) even though they performed and sounded great as well. Just a bit too clunky and the cavity back design was just not great. As always you have to find what works best for you. This is just my 2 cents.

I ’ ve played only 2 rounds since getting these irons but already can tell I love them!! Shot 71 with my second round with them and love the distance and feel, surprisingly forgiving too, that ’s an added bonus!! I ’ m 61 and play to a 4hcp. The red amt stiff shafts give a great response and mid- high ball flight( I ’ m normally a low ball flight). The season just started but I know I ’ m gon na love these irons!!

I 've had these clubs for about a month now and they are amazing! I play only 9 holes most of the time and have only shot under 40 four times before getting these clubs. In the first month of playing with clubs I 've already shot( 2) 37s and( 2) 39s. They feel great! The higher more consistent spin I seem to getting has given me better distance control.

First playing the JPX Mizuno line. I ’ ve had several sets of the MP line so anxious to try these. I consider these a players iron but strong lofts and ball speed with the usual soft Mizuno feel. The only disappointing thing is that these all came at 2* upright on the lie. I ordered standard lie and was able to correct them because I have the tools to do so. I ’ ve never had that from Mizuno they are usually spot on.

This Iron/Hybrid( Max OS) set is working great for me. I ’ m 62 and benefit from the oversized head design along with Regular shafts. My only concern is the pricing. I work at a golf course so I got my set as a gift from the head pro, but I could never afford these. I realize the amount of R& D that went into these and the hope to recoup monies but the only people buying these are rich, old guys. The rest of us lug around old clubs… All in all, great golf clubs as Callaway is known for, but truth be told, they still need to pay their tour pro ’s.

I was thinking about getting the older T300 irons, but decided to do a fitting. At the fitting I was able to swing them as well as these, and I 'm glad I did. Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I am still a higher handicap player, but these are the most forgiving irons I have hit, and it shows on the course. Would recommend to any other higher handicap player.

I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

These are very easy to hit and thankfully they are very forgiving! I have managed to get into the 80's with these. Not consistent, but several times. Since I 've purchased these. Purchased this week. Hit them in the sim at dicks a few weeks ago along with several others. Just loved the feel and the sound. I have a relatively slow swing speed. 73- 77 mph club head speed. I have been playing with a set of Dunlop clubs that are probably 20 years old. These are gon na be a great upgrade for me. Compared em to others based on how they look and felt on the sim.
