Phenomenal club, my Titleist fitter and I were trying to decide how to fill the gap between my 3H and 6i and we landed on this beauty. High launching beauty that will hold any green, very easy to hit

Amazing club for my handicap. Very forgiving and would recommend to everyone.

Bigadee B
I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. Feels great and the bigger face gives me a little more confidence when standing over it.

Bought this to replace my 4 iron. Just wanted a little more distance and forgiveness. What I really like is it that it still has a solid “ thump ” feel to it almost like a muscle back and much more forgiving.

Bought this a few weeks ago to close a gap in yardage and have a safe bet off the tee and it does not disappoint. Beautiful club and just what I needed.

KCTigerfan13
I purchased this as an alternative to my driver when I need to find a fairway and to hit into greens on long approaches. Never been consistent with my 3 wood. This thing is much easier to hit than a wood and I get similar to more distance since I get less spin. Beautiful looking club that is surprisingly easy to hit off the ground as well as off a tee for being 17 degrees.

Great club with solid feel ... Great driving iron/utility club, easy to hit with the standard hybrid shift, and forgiving! ... Picked up a P- DHY 3 iron as a safety club off the tee, and it ’s proving to be a reliable and straight comfort blanket on tight

I was hesitant to replace my 5 wood with the PDHY, but after 1 round I wouldn ’ t go back. The versatility it offers me off the tee was enough to make the decision for me, but it ’s also much easier to hit from the fairway than I anticipated. The slightly bigger sole gives me confidence that the ball is going to go into the air, while the club still offers you the ability to control the flight when wanted.

Preferred choice over a hybrid. Long off the tee and easy to get up.

My new favorite club. Excellent for tight par 4's and dangerous tee shots. Very forgiving, would highly recommend for those that like to play long irons.

I recently added the Apex UT to the bag, switching from a hybrid for a little more accuracy and another option of the tee. Its been great, especially with the custom shaft and all the building options that Callaway offers. I 've gotten a few rounds under my belt and I 'm really happy to have it in the bag.

Love it! Awesome club and easy to hit! Very excited for the shorter par 4 ’s now or just when you need to get it down the middle or even reaching a longer par 5!!!

Best long iron replacement ever! Bought the 20 degree option to replace 4 iron or 4/5 Hybrid and I could not be happier.

I used ChatGPT to help select a club to take to Ireland( Sept 25) to play in the high winds, rain and hard surfaces. I prompted ChatGPT with my current club specs, trackman data, GHIN data, and my ChatGPT plan to get to scratch. I used the Callaway preowned inventory for ChatGPT to fine tune the selection( APEX UT 20 degree with graphite shaft). The club worked perfectly off the tee or ground in Ireland in 40+mph winds, rain, and took advantage of the hard surfaces.

I didn ’ t know that I needed this club. It ’s extremely forgiving and easy to hit. It ’s a beast off the tee and allows me to flight the ball low and get a good run. It ’s good off the fairway too! I went with the 18° version.

I started with the UDi thinking it was closer to my TM 790 ’s but had to take advantage of Golf Galaxy ’s to trade it for the DHY which turned out to be a winner for me. I am actually thing of swapping my 5iron for the equivalent DHy. Stay tuned.

Josh1093874
Bought it last week, and put it on my wedge to start trying it out, and instantly started hitting straighter. Was still skeptical so I then moved to my 8iron, and then my 4 iron, and then my Hybrid, and even put it on my driver! And every club I started to hit better! I sliced way to much and kept my face open and this has changed my game! I played a round of golf, and played the best round ever, just because I had confidence in my shot and knowing that my shots would go straight and they did! Would recommend for anyone who needs help closing their face and building confidence!

I hate COVID
Mid 40's age golfer that picked up the game 5 yrs ago. Tried everything to fix my over the top swing and nothing worked. Started swinging this everyday and it has dramatically improved my swing. And for the guys complaining about the top screw rubbing their palm or having big hands just take off the optional club head attachment that fits at the bottom of the grip and move your hands down from the top screw. Several online teachers show it this way on their reviews.

I reached a point in my golf journey where my budget starter clubs was holding me back. The DYNAPWR irons gave me considerably more distance and better distance control without sacrificing forgiveness. These are a great choice for a beginner our mid- level golfer to grow with.

I fitted into the Steel HL shafts from graphite JPX. These are rocket launchers! I ’ ve never hit more greens. Put them in the bag in April and my handicap went from 17 to an 11. Playing the best golf of my life, and these irons are a big part of the improvement.

I love my Pings. I got to use them a few times before the cold weather set in. I would love to find someone to help fit them to me and make weight adjustments. If I was to complain about anything it is the grips. When I pull my club out of the bag I slide my hand down the shaft to the grip. My fingers will catch on the grip and flip the grip back a little. I can see that tearing after a while. I will probably re- grip them. It kind of gave me the feeling they cheated out on the grips. That is the only thing that disappointed me seeing this is the most I have ever paid for clubs.

This is the ideal first gold club for my son( age 3) to learn to play golf with his daddy!
A golf utility iron is a versatile club designed to bridge the gap between traditional long irons and hybrids. It typically features a larger clubhead and a lower center of gravity, making it easier to hit from various lies. Unlike standard irons, utility irons often provide more forgiveness and distance, making them suitable for a range of skill levels.
Golf utility irons are ideal for various situations on the course, particularly when you need to hit long shots from the fairway or rough. They can also be beneficial for approach shots to the green, especially when accuracy and distance control are essential. Many players opt for utility irons in windy conditions due to their ability to cut through the air.
Golf utility irons are typically constructed from high-quality materials such as stainless steel or carbon steel, which enhance durability and performance. Some models may incorporate advanced technologies like tungsten weighting or hollow-body designs to improve forgiveness and launch. The choice of materials can significantly affect the feel and playability of the club.
Selecting the right golf utility iron depends on your skill level, swing speed, and playing style. Beginners may benefit from models that offer more forgiveness and a larger sweet spot, while more advanced players might prefer options that provide greater control and workability. It's important to consider factors like loft, shaft flex, and overall design when making your choice.
Yes, golf utility irons are designed to perform well in various weather conditions. Their construction allows for consistent performance in windy or rainy conditions, making them a reliable choice for many players. Additionally, the versatility of utility irons means they can be used effectively on different types of terrain, whether it's wet grass or firm fairways.
