Love it! Fits my head shape better than my previous forefront, a bit wider around the sides. Less koroid on top maybe breathes better but higher risk of bees getting in. MIPS internal is nice and discrete. The sun glasses slot seems to work better then the forefront also.

My husband and i were out on a ride. I left my helmet on my handlebars while we went in a shop and when we came out it was gone. My husband had me wear his smith signal helmet home. I immediately looked them Up And bought a maroon convoy. The visor is amazing at helping with the sun and ahape is perfect for my head it has mips and comfortable staps. Glad i lost my old one this one will be locked up

Being a motorcycle lover, i 've always loved all things Smith. And my Convoy is a perfect example: great fit, visor does not get in the way of your view and it's lightweight! I prefer it over my Fox Speedframe, which is heavier and the visor's too big and sometimes obstructs the view, especially when going downhill. Next helmet will be another Convoy!!

Bought the helmet for riding my E bike on the dirt trails and roads with my wife. I was replacing an older helmet and thought it was time to upgrade. The helmet is extremely comfortable after 2+ hours of riding barely noticeable, very easy to adjust, it is very cooling in the hotter weather and the price was not bad.

Now I decided to get this MIPS merlot color bike helmet( surprisingly the cheapest MIPS helmet among other offered colors due to this attractive Merlot color other customers obviously ignored). I use it while riding my step- through, foldable 2023 AiPas A2 Elite e- bike counting on the same lightweight fit, comfort and airy experience. I got those to replace my sons first helmet. This one looks way better and has MIPS which is crucial for him being on trails. Fits great with the boa style adjustment around the inside of the helmet. Will be able to grow with him for a good bit.

I had a big crash on the White Rim trail that broke my collarbone and dented my helmet, left me with a knot above my left eye as well. My helmet was on tight and kept me from what could have been a terrible head injury. I will replace with same helmet when I can ride again. The ability to lock this helmet tight on my head was key. The ER doc was impressed!

Crash tested into asphalt, could still remember my birthday as well as America ’s and my wife ’s( which is not always a given. The fit system is phenomenal and the flip up visor is wildly under rated. Comfy, breathable and safe, buying the exact same one to replace it.

I have been wearing one of these helmets for about a year. It is comfortable, well vented and light. After crashing at a bike park and landing face first on a rock I can also confidently say that it offers great protection also. I broke the helmet, but walked away with only a small cut on my face. I also bought the same helmet as a replacement. If you 're considering buying a mainline, get one.

I had a bad road bike crash recently. Was airlifted to a spinal facility with fractured vertebrae, ribs and a pneumo thorax. I am on the mend but my new Smith Network MIPS helmet did not survive. It did the job it was designed to do- protect my head. Well worth every cent.

I ’ ve always preferred Smith Helmets. I just recently had a bike accident on my road bike. I was too fast on a turn and crashed into the woods. I came out with a dented helmet and no concussion. I think MIPs helped to avoid the concussion

This is my second of these helmets. I wear it on road and gravel rides. I can ’ t say enough good things about this helmet. It ’s comfortable, matches any sunglasses you want to wear, and it ’s protective. This is my second one because my previous one saved my noggin on a gravel ride where I got a little fast into a corner. Smashed myself into a tree at high speed, seperated my shoulder, and caved my helmet in. Kept my head safe from the impact. When I was able to get back on the bike I was more than happy to get another one of these to keep me safe out there.

I crashed really hard today. Lost it on a large jump, hit the ground and my head. Broke my glasses and cracked my helmet. I feel like I ’ ve been hit by a car but thankfully, my head feels great. I ’ m grateful for MIPS today and I have ordered another Session helmet.

Although I would like other colours in XL( in bike helmets), this one fits great. Smith really needs to make other bike helmets in size XL. Ski helmets they do, but not many bike helmets.

While i did not own a helmet my wife has a helmet that she Periodically wears, mostly when biking with her parents, who wear helmets. I am pretty sure it is the first helmet ever made. I actually think it is older than she is, possibly a hand me down from a much older sibling who likely never wore it. Not only is it heavy, it is a white hard shell with white foam interior and looks pretty dated and worn. When she wears it she does not have much to say good or bad. When we would ride just the two of us she almost never wears it. I recently did a sanctioned ride wear a helmet was required and wore my wife ’s helmet. While It was actually nice peace of mind having it on, it fit and felt terrible. As i was signing up for another ride requiring a helmet I decided to buy a proper helmet. I started looking and found a signal in white at DSG. I bought it and tried it on and was satisfied with how it fit. I did not wear it until my ride that required it. Finally i wore it on the ride, WOW It had an awesome fit and i was happy with the number of vents and how light it was. Darn it is so well vented light and comfortable you dont even know you have it on. Yesterday we decided to take an all day ride and i said that I would wear my new helmet so of course my wife wore hers. Halfway through she asked …no begged me to try my helmet. On several occasions she mentioned how nice it was compared to her ancient helmet. When we switched back she only wore her helmet briefly before removing it and hanging it on the handle bars and announcing she wanted a new helmet too. Any questions just ask my wife.

Switched to this product for the MIPS and how sturdy it appeared. I only had the opportunity to wear the helmet for 8 minutes before a distracted driver turned left into my path. The helmet did what it was suppose to, I had no injury to my head. I will be replacing this helmet with the same!
