I really appreciate the detail that was put into both the appearance and quality of the bike. I am most impressed with the Trail Boss wheels! They are much thicker than the wheels on my old bike and are perfect for trail and mountain biking. I bike on the beach frequently in the warmer months, and these tires can definitely handle the sand! I ’ ve already taken it out on a few rides and is so smooth and makes me want to keep going! I also tried riding around town and it performed extremely well biking through the city. This is the first time I have assembled a bike by myself, and it was a breeze. [ Not only is this an awesome mountain bike, it is aesthetically very attractive in color. The set up of this bike was very easy as well as I did not need the manual to figure out where parts went. The only thing I can say about this bike that is negative, is that the seat is not the most comfortable but there are easily ways around that. This is a great bike and I have tested out the riding around the block. I can not wait to use this in my next trip to Colorado.

[ I absolutely love the purple color on this bike. It ’s really beautiful! The quality of the bike seems to be on par with the “ specialized ” bikes that I bought my kids for Christmas. It ’s pretty light, it ’s easy to switch gears, and use it to climb hills. The brakes did need a bit of adjusting since it didn ’ t brake completely right out of the box. Assembly: was somewhat easy. I did struggle a bit to remove this one hard plastic piece from the front fork. I ended up standing up the bike and stepping in between the fork onto that plastic piece, then lifting up the bike. You will need a few Allen Wrenches to assemble this, but it ’s pretty straightforward. Overall, I do recommend this bike. I loved how beautiful it looks, and feels on the road

If you need help putting it together there are videos showing step by step how to assemble it. I took it out on the trail for a quick ride and the shocks really make it a smooth ride going over bumps and rocks. The seat is comfortable and the bike is well made. My only complaint is that it does not come with a kick stand. I plan on getting one though.

This bike is heavy and slow. It's super comfortable though. In fact, the comfort level makes up for the weight issue. I 've owned if for less than a month and have already put over 100 miles on it. I 've read some complaints about the seat not being good, but that has been my favorite part.

I have owned this bike for a year now and have 900 miles on it, I have added planet bike fenders and rear rack and have had no problems except for one flat from a thorn. I ride mainly on bike paths but have also gone on the road with hills, I must say that the bike had no problem with climbing but this is not a road bike and has a few drawbacks, you will work 30% harder on hills due to the shock seat post and the front shock fork and not being able to forward your weight for the climb, otherwise this is an awesome ride and seems to be built well! This is my go to bike when I ride every day to work and to relax on weekends, The seat is also very comfy compared to others I have had, hope this helps in your decision on your next bike purchase!

Good value for what I wanted. A bike to get some exercise, not looking to set any speed or distance records. I 've had the bike for a month now. The only issue was the tires were not inflated properly when I brought it home. I have tried to ride 3 to 4 times a week. My typical ride is 10 miles and my longest so far has been 21 miles. My speed has been improving as my legs get stronger. Whoever called it a 'Comfort' seat has n't ridden any distance on it. I 'll be investing in some biking shorts.

This is his first bike with gears and he figured them out on his first ride and said they shift easily. It ’s been about three weeks of him riding daily and I would definitely recommend this bike! Such a great value for the price. This is a well made and sturdy bike. I ’ m looking into getting a second one for my other son. This bike came in a large box, but i like that it had handle holes on both sides to make it easy to carry. When i opened the box, the bike was mostly put together( thankfully). It came with a saftey instructions booklet, but the assembly instructions had to be found online. I would have preferred the assembly instructions in the box and the safety information online( I just may be old school that way). The assembly was not straight forward as the instructions contain different types and styles of bikes. Also, since the bike was mostly put together, the instructions were a little confusing to explain how to put it together. I would suggest having instructions specific to completing the build in it's current state Nd to have differnt sections for each bike style or type( instead of all being described together). I was able to figure out how to complete the construction and test out the handling and brakes. My youngest son rode around the front yard with a big smile on his face. He said he like to color of his new bike. He has been on it the past week and I even caught my middle son riding the new bike.

I bought one in the purple color and my girls love it. I have twins so I 've decided to buy one first to test if it's really a good purchase. My girls rode the bike today, it was comfortable for her to sit on and she enjoyed her first experience with a gear shifting bicycle. It was easy to carry the bike in the car. The front wheel can be removed in 1 minute so it just fit into the trunk of our SUV. Tomorrow I 'm going back buying the blue colored one for my other girl. I would recommend this bike with an in- store purchase. The store sales person performed a safety check, adjusted everything and inflated the tires before handed it over to us at the check out counter. I also purchased a one- year protection plan for$ 23 which i figured comes handy if the girls fall and a part will need to be replaced due to accidental damage.

The bike is great for a teenager for adult who is a casual bike rider/weekend bike rider. This isn ’ t the bike for someone who is a hardcore cyclist. It works great and there are no issues, but it ’s heavy and is a standard bike. The manual was awful at telling you how to put it together and I had to pay a bike shop to do it. Not happy about that part. Once together, it worked fine. You do have to release the front brake in order to take the front tire off for transport which I don ’ t have to do on another bike we own. The gears and pedals work fine. It ’s a decent bike in the$ 400 range.

The Nishiki 24in Colorado has Modern MTB frame Geometry. The bike profile has a balanced smooth sleek appearance that you usually do n't see in bikes of this price range. The front suspension coil spring fork is heavy but works well. It can be upgraded to a lighter air spring fork. The 7 speed components with a rapid fire shifter works well and what is expected at this price range. An 8 speed would have been better but cost more. The wheel rims are double wall aluminum which means they can be converted to `` Tubeless '' making them almost flat proof. The wheel bearings are the old `` cup and cone '' standard. I had to adjust the bearing preload on both wheels to get them to spin freely with little to no resistance. My 9 year old Granddaughter's first ride on the bike coming off an old lead sled bike was impressive for her.

Great women ’s bike! We own a couple Nishiki bikes and absolutely love them. We were pleasantly surprised when this bike arrived and a kickstand was included. With this previous model we had to purchase a kickstand in addition to the bike. Assembly took under an hour and was pretty simple. The color was beautiful! It says it is orange and red, but when it arrived it was a beautiful light orange and the red was more of a coral. It rides great as well!

This bike is not what I had expected. The performance and sturdiness of the bike are great. I ’ m use to riding a 12speed hybrid bike. However this bike ’s performance is awesome. The suspension is better on the joints and was able to ride uphill without a problem. The shifts are easy to use. The tires help provide a smooth, nice ride on street surfaces and on dirt. The placement of the handle bars help elevate pressure and numbing after riding a while.

[ I was extremely shocked by the quality of this bike. It not only is a beautiful blue color, but it has front and rear spring loaded suspension as well as is set up at a 1x9, having 1 front gear and 9 rear gears. The bike came extremely well packaged as well with extra plastic pieces to protect vital parts like the front brake rotor and the bottom of the front suspension. Straight out of the box there is some setup which could definitely be daunting to beginners, but it wasn ’ t too hard and the bike comes with instructions for setup as well as information for getting help setting up your new bike. Once setup, I played around with the shifting and found the derailleur shifted very smoothly through the 9 gears with little problem. This bike also came with flat pedals which was nice because most bikes I have purchased have not included pedals. As an experienced mountain biker I really appreciated all the features and the overall quality of this bike. I think this bike would be perfect for any beginner looking to start their journey into mountain biking. It is very solid aluminum and would be a great learner bike. I am excited for the weather to get better here in the Midwest so I can truly take this bike out on the trails and try it out!

[ Received this mongoose salvo 2 bike from Influenster for free and it ’s absolutely amazing! The seat has a shock within it that can raise and lower while is awesome and something I ’ ve never seen before! The tires on this bike are so big and bulky which will come in handy on trails. The features on this bike is absolutely something I ’ ve never seen before. Makes for a smooth ride. Definitely something I will be using for a long time!

[ Wow! I haven ’ t rode a mongoose bike for years and didn ’ t know what expect… well, mind blown! This bike is the most solid mountain bike I ’ ve ever tried! The tires are a bit wider with a hearty tread. It feels secure even though it ’s lightweight and handles like a dream. Putting it together was initially daunting but approaching it with a clear head and some patience, it wasn ’ t bad. It feels sturdy and the gears shift seamlessly. The height and weight of the frame are perfect and the seat is basic as far as mountain bikes go. In general, this is a solid bike that rides well on multiple applications( tried asphalt, concrete, grass, gravel and trails). Thanks to Influenster and mongoose for the opportunity to trial this bike- it ’s a game changer in my rides for sure.

Fun, easy to handle the speed changes, excellent brakes. The quality is great, very strong and light weight. The best part are the shocks, when you 're going downhills and a ruff road it feels good. A great feature also is the drooper seat. The only thing that we do n't like, is the seat. [ Received the bike and had my son assemble it for me. It took him about an hour and he said it wasnt too difficult. I really enjoyed this bike and felt like the suspension is definitely a game changer. I took it out on a trail and the ride was super smooth once I got used to the gears. I 'm just a beginner so I started off on a pretty flat trail. I 'm excited to work my way up to something a little more challenging and I 'm sure the bike will have no difficulty tackling it. The only thing I wish it had was a kickstand, and I think I will be changing the seat for something a little more comfortable.

My only complaint is that the brake cable was rubbing on the crank arm, but it was an easy fix with a zip tie to the chainstay tube near the bottom bracket.

My first E bike. It certainly lived up to the reviews. It ’s a pleasure to ride. The assist is responsive but not overwhelming. The bike is comfortable and easy to handle. The looks fit and finish is amazing. The welds are so smooth the bike almost looks cast! Assembly is so simple an assembly fee is a waste of money. Anyone can do it. The only drawback is its weight. That aside it ’s an amazing fun ride okai eb50 ranger fat tire ebike.

We bought two okai eb50 ranger fat tire ebike, one for me and the other for the wife. We assembled both bikes after watching the instructional video with absolutely no problems. Unfortunately we purchased our bikes in January and we live in the Midwest so we are waiting for better weather to take a long ride but as of today we have ridden around our neighborhood and so far we are extremely happy with our bikes. Needless to say we are very anxious about spring.
