Well. I bought 4 pairs. These are everything I was hoping for. Essentially a springy, barefoot run with great energy return. All have worn well unless I try to take them off without undoing the laces, or scrape them on concrete. I wear mine daily. I have narrow feet with exceptionally high arches. As for this model compared to the Alphafly 2 and original…they improved them tremendously. They are snug without pressure, better foam profile, and the lacing system doesn ’ t untie easily. Oh, and they look cool. Final assessment- for a daily 5k- ❤️👍🏻💨

Not perfect but the best racing supershoe that I ’ ve used among VF2, VF3, adizero adios, AF3. Just received VF4s but yet to run in them. My first run in these AF3s was a shakeout before a half marathon. Was concerned as the shoes squeaked for about 2. 5 miles but that finally subsided. Have run 2 half marathons in these- each time was PR by 4 minutes. Best thing for me is the low volume toe box. I have narrow, low volume feet. The VF3s are way too baggy in the toe box for me. These shoes do “ hoof clop ” loudly like the old tempo next% trainers. Ppl always turning their head as I come up on them🤣

I am size 9. 5 and first tried the size 9. It was too short and my toes were falling out of the shoe. The width was perfect though. I then tried the 10 instead. They are a good length, maybe a little bit too wide, so not perfect but better than the size 9. They are very comfortable. I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I 'd love to see more colorways. I actually worked in them the first night I got them and had several complements. I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

I ’ ve bought Reebok Nano 6 ’s for years and they ’ ve been great for CrossFit workouts. I recently switched to more HIIT workouts and really felt the need for more cushioning- especially going from box jumps to sprints and more. I bought the metcons in both 8. 5( my normal size) and 9 ’s as people said to size up. They were comfortable and had more cushioning yet the same stability as my metcons but the sizing was a bit weird. My normal size felt a little bit tighter/smaller but the 9 ’s felt huge. These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet! I bought the white and turquoise, so I do n't know that this will be the ones I hit the trails with, guess I will need a second pair for that! I honestly am living in these though. The support is unlike any other shoe in my rotation and while it is soft underfoot you are totally supported and stable. No joke I 've worn these for a couple 12+ hour days on my feet and I forget that I have them on they are so amazing.
