I am insanely satisfied with The Burley tail wagon the stability is unreal and it was very easy to set up I feel like me and my pet or 100% safe when I ride it and it ’s easy to steer. To me the only downside is that the front ventilation is all or nothing you can ’ t only open a small part of it to give the dog air do you have to leave the whole part undone which can cause the dog to jump out I would love for an update to include a zipper and allow you to modify how much fresh air you give a dog while still keeping them safely enclosed closed

Perfect for my older dogs. Two 14lbs Chiweenies fit no problem. They get to do some pedal zooming and come cruising everywhere now. I have an electric bike which makes it even easier. Love it!

Purchased this trailer for my puppy. She is still too young to run with my while I ride so having this option while she matures is great. She sits quietly in the trailer and the ease of putting it on and off the bike makes this the prefect trailer for the job. In addition setting it up and breaking it down is quick and simple.

I love how easy this converts to a stroller after a bike ride. ... Please make an actually reclined baby hammock like Thule so we can use the stroller function

Very well designed and well made. Cargo area behind seats is big enough for a couple bags of groceries. Independently reclining seats is a great for kids of different ages. Ability to convert from trailer to stroller in seconds is a huge feature for running errands and not wanting to take kids out of their seats just to run into a store for a few things. Easy to hook up and release and overall the best ride of any bike trailer out there.

We absolutely love this trailer. It is very easy to pull( or push when used as a stroller), because it has a suspension it is very comfortable for a child:) Bonus for good space for storage and pockets inside the tailer for snacks and drinks:) I highly recommend it.

Absolutely love our D ’ lite burley. Little bubs can ’ t quite sit up alone so we bought the extra sitting cushions, they really made a difference in support for our 5 month old. We only have one baby but am planning on another in a couple years so we got the two seater. I thought it might be a little heavy as a stroller but I can maneuver it up a couple stairs to get off the front deck just fine and I can load it in to the back of the truck without help from my husband. We haven ’ t hooked it up to a bike just yet, we will probably attach the ski gear for some snowshoeing first because winter is almost here. To be honest we got all the bells and whistles for each season all at once so we could get out of the house each season without having to wait for deliveries. We have used it as a stroller most but look forward to its versatility. I almost got the cub I think it was, but decided against it since the cub isn ’ t “ hike ” compatible. ie the cub wasn ’ t compatible with the 16 inch wheels. For the trails we plan on going I thought it would probably be best to be able to use the 16 inch wheels. The D ’ lite doesn ’ t have the hard plastic bottom like the cub, but instead is a little lighter by like 9lbs and is compatible with the hiking wheels. It can be a bit of an investment upfront but it was totally worth it being able to get out in any season with the bubs and have the space to pack the “ just in case extras ” to help make outings easier!

Bike use: So far so good! My husband and I have had our burley d- lite x for a couple of months and overall we are very happy with the design. First I must state that we immediately went to the 16 ” off- road tires. Our first use was on a flat paved trail. Our biggest concern is safety and I must say I was a little worried about the way the flex connector works. Once I tried it, I can completely lay my bike down with no rotating force on the burley. This immediately calmed my fears( so much so that the ball- style attachment that I ordered is still in its packaging.) The thru- axle mount seems very sturdy and the safety strap just adds confidence. I love how the front hooks in with the yellow clips! I do not like that the plastic rain cover( wind shield) does not end up tight like the competition. Stroller use:(** handle slips!!**) We also purchased the 1 wheel jogging stroller attachment. I went into this thinking, “ we already have a very nice stroller ”. But after trying this unit in grass. I was in love with this as a stroller. But! This is not without one downside that I feel could use a huge improvement. The handle tightens using a plastic gear — tooth design. From the factory, this handle won ’ t latch tight enough to stay fixed. I think this mechanism needs to be upgraded in the dlite x v2

We love our Burley! My 75lbs golden took no time getting in and comfortable. The Burley was easy to assemble and easy to attach to my E- bike. Our rides are mostly on paved trails and they are effortless and enjoyable for both of us. Now I will say for my basset hound… he ’ ll get in to the Burley… Not quite convinced when it moves so we ’ re working on that. Thank you Burley for such a great product!

Went on a hike with a group of friends and let me tell you… carried 80+ lb husky( Bandit) in this bad boy and it was light weight! Bandit was a little nervous at first, but by the end of the hike he was taking a nap and would not get out!!! Highly recommend!

Comfortable ride for the doggo. We purchased the when upgrade, which makes the bumps a bit less bumpy and shows is too rude on trails. Great wagon, expensive but worth it.

I use it to hold treats or clean bags. It does also have enough space for a collapsible water bowl. I use the Burley sleeve to carry the water bottle separately. Nice and sturdy.

Now able to snow bike with our little one. Tires+wheels are heavy but they work. Better than any other manufacturer has done.

Smoother ride. My son does n't seem to bounce around as much as with the smaller tires. It really does seem all- terrain and he's not as affected by gravel.

Added a set to both our flatbed and nomad for bike camping. What a difference for off road riding, trailers roll with mush less resistance. We still use the standard tire set with our gravel road bikes, so this just adds to the diversity of these trailers. Easy on/ off with push button hubs, interchangeable between trailers. I suggest adjusting your air pressure( just like on your bike) to match your trailer load weight, to much PSI and the trailer will bounce a little more over rocks and roots.

When selecting a pet bike trailer, consider features such as weight capacity, safety harnesses, and weather protection. Look for trailers with sturdy frames and durable materials to ensure stability and comfort for your pet. Additionally, features like easy access doors and ample ventilation can enhance the overall experience for both you and your pet.
Bike trailers are designed to accommodate a variety of pets, including dogs and cats. It's important to check the weight limit and dimensions of the trailer to ensure it is suitable for your pet's size and breed. Many trailers also come with adjustable safety features to keep your pet secure during rides.
While many pet bike trailers are designed for smooth pavement, some models are built to handle rougher terrain. If you plan to ride on trails or uneven surfaces, look for trailers with larger wheels and robust suspension systems. This will provide a smoother ride for your pet and improve stability on bumpy paths.
To keep your pet comfortable during a bike ride, ensure the trailer has adequate padding and ventilation. It's also a good idea to take short test rides to help your pet acclimate to the trailer. Bringing along familiar items, such as a blanket or toy, can help create a cozy environment for your pet.
Safety features in a pet bike trailer are crucial for a secure ride. Look for trailers with safety harnesses to keep your pet in place, reflective materials for visibility, and sturdy attachment mechanisms to connect to your bike. Additionally, consider trailers with a low center of gravity to prevent tipping during rides.
