Only one complaint. I wish the front part of the boot that is black to avoid wear and tear was more durable. I have had them for almost two week now and they have already worn through.

Needed a safety toe for work in Indonesia. Worried about the climate and these leather boots. Turns out I walk a lot on hard packed ground, rugged rock gravel and super wetlands for long hour days. Super surprised with comfort and durability and made these my go to boot. They top my lightweight hikers and Bean Boots. Mainly due to comfort and traction. Though they get warm in the Low Lands, I have another pair waiting at home to bring back on my next rotation. My feet get warm easy, but the comfort of this boot makes it worth it. Needed a short break in period for the area around the ankle. They fit well. Next week will be more October- like with rain, near freezing temps and snow. Full review will have to wait a month or two until it gets cold and wet.

They are water resistant and can be easily cleaned after a muddy hike! Just make sure to wear tall socks with them.

I absolutely love these boots, so much so I have purchased 3 pairs. When I worn out my first pair of these boots, I went to order another pair and Carhartt was out of stock and did not have an availability date at that time. I have a wide foot and this boot is available in a wide size. This does not require any break in period. So when I saw that Carhartt brought back this boot in my size I bought 2 pairs.
