Higher platform a little different getting used to than the regular Birkenstock sandals. Comfortable enough after wearing the few times that I 've worn them. These shoes are super cute& trendy! I spent 10 days walking roughly 20, 000 steps per day in Europe with these- including a 6 mile hike& climbing multiple historic towers. My feet were never uncomfortable, I felt the shoes were breathable and sturdy/stable. There was less rain than anticipated but when it rained or there were puddles, my feet and shoes stayed totally dry. My only complaint is they did scuff/dirty and though they ’ re easily cleanable, the suede detail has remained grey after antibacterial wipes. I will try a more aggressive cleaning method though. As always, I size up by 0. 5 because all my Soren ’s run small.
