I got these for my papa as a late fathers day gift. He works at a big plant in Donaldson and he wears them every day.( Even though they change in the locker rooms anyway.) He wears them whenever we go shopping, out to eat, anywhere! When you first get them though, make sure you wear socks above the ankle, they will rub your heels! I used these for the first time yesterday, and they were outstanding. I spent seven hours wet- wading in Western North Carolina, and they felt more like a pair of slippers than wading shoes. I paired them with SIMMS quick- dry pants, and the combination worked great. My only quibble is the strap adjustment system. You can ’ t really fine- tune the straps while they ’ re on your feet. I had to put them on, take them off, wrestle with the straps, and repeat the process a few times before I got the heel locked in without slipping. Once dialed in, though, they were excellent — easy to slip on and off, and I never had to adjust them again.

Long days on my feet on a 10+ hour workday means I need all the comfort I can get and so far these shoes have met my expectations. So far the outer water protection layer is holding up. The only downside I 've found so far is the opening to the shoe is narrow and I have to wear long socks or pants that come down to protect my shins from all the rubbing and hitting from walking.

I usually wear an 8 and these fit perfect true to size. They are like pillows on your feet. There is no arch support inside the boot so if you need that you might want to add your own inserts. I bought these beginning 2025 and main complaint I read was hard to determine on due to narrow opening. I have a skinny foot and hold on to both loops to slip on shoe. I could see if you have a thick or wide foot you may have issues getting it on but once you get into the boot it is not right. Easy to get off. I know these were designed for deck shoes on a boat and I could see they have a bottom created for that. If you walk on snow or frozen surfaces they are NOT good for that at all. I almost fell on my toosh walking on these on hard frozen surfaces. Rubber gets hard on the bottom and traction is not built for that. I walked down a muddy bank and slid all the way down to the creek due to no traction on the bottom. I love the boots for walking my dog and fishing in our boat. The cushion is awesome. They do hold stains if you get in red dirt. You need to wash them off immediately or they hold the stain. In general for some reason the cushiony material sucks up grime and they are hard to keep looking good even after scrubbing they need to add something to the cushion part of boot to block the grime. I bought the purplish swirl boot color.

[ I bought these 2 months ago and I was a little scared at first bc they were pretty tight on my foot but after I broke them in they fit really nice, it only took a week or two to break in but I ’ d wear them around the house etc. They ’ re my favorite though. I wear them on the boat and outdoors on trails. I compare them to my Xtratuf boots and these are more heavy duty and you pay for what you get, which is better durability and comfort.
