I was so happy to find this chair at a reasonable price! Beach chairs have gotten really expensive, and I really wanted one with a sun shade. This chair is really heavy, but folds up similarly to a standard camp chair, just longer. The label says good for up to 225 lbs. The shade folds behind the chair when you do n't want to use it. It sits lower than a traditional camp chair, which I wanted, but does not have any adjustable reclining positions. Does n't have a place to store the carrying bag.

I am 6' 5 '' and 350 lbs, and the seat height, angle width& depth are all perfect. Rigid arm rests are sturdy plastic and shaped to allow finding several positions that are `` just right. Wife loves the Adirondack, and this one does not disappoint. We bought two! Assembly is a little challenging unless you have a good( and proper sized) Allen wrench bit. The final two steps are the hardest. The pre- drilled holes for the screws are not aligned. Alignment requires an extra set of hands to pull the armrests very hard to get the holes in place. Need to alternate between the final and next to final steps.

The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. If you are sitting up to a table, or even just forward on the chair it is a bit too relaxed. Lastly, be prepared for a fairly large item when folded. Getting all this comfort into a bag poses a big challenge. Well done GCI!

I like how the chair is adjustable so you can lay flat, sit up, or go somewhere in between. They are comparable or even slightly more comfortable than the ones at an all inclusive resort. [ My husband and I just took these chairs on a five day canoe trip. They easily strapped under the stern seat for long portages and were balanced easily with a stuff sack under the bow seat. They set up in about a minute once you get used to the process and are so comfortable. If it was colder I would line the ventilated seats and backs with a blanket. They are tippy until you get used to them but it ’s not a big deal since you ’ re so close to the ground; also, all lightweight camp chairs are tippy. Too big to bring backpacking( don ’ t pack down small enough for a backpack) but definitely the right chair for a canoe trip!

Good looking rocking chair but most importantly it is very comfortable and functional. Folds up easily for storage, opens easily for relaxation and rest. It has a generous width so you don ’ t feel claustrophobic. While it folds up, it ’s not very compact—comfort has a price. But boy is it comfortable. My new favorite camp chair.

[ I thought that this would be more like one of the bulky beach chairs but I was pleasantly surprised to find it is actually like the camp chairs that fold up and fit in the bag. This makes it so much easier to carry to and from the beach. It is very low to the ground so it is good for keeping your toes and feet in the sand. It is sturdy and light. You do not have the option of reclining back but you are not sitting up to straight or back too far. It has padded arms and a headrest. It is very comfortable and easy to use.

[ I love my new red Tranquility beach chair! The color is so bright and brings major beach vibes and the portability of the chair is amazing! I love that it comes in its own carrying case so it is easy to bring even if you have to park super far from your destination. This chair is very comfortable too, it has a nice firm but also supportive fabric. It is very low to the ground( standard for beach chairs), so some may find it difficult to get in and out of, but it is not a problem for our family. I definitely recommend the Tranquility beach chair for all of your beach, sports, or outdoor needs!
