[ This shoe hits the sweet spot- no easy feat for a children ’s shoe! The first thing I noticed about the Revolution 7 was the subtle style elements. Nike took details from adult shoes and incorporated them onto a children ’s shoe. The mini Swoosh near the toe box? So awesome to see that on a kids shoe! The design of the mid- sole and overall silhouette really set these apart from others in the market- it looks and feels like these took some serious time and effort to design. The bottom of the shoe just makes sense in its design- providing traction without being bulky. My son is active in the neighborhood, always riding scooters and chasing his friends around. He tends to take his shoes off and put them back on several times throughout the day. This shoe is easy to get off and back on, and he never felt like his foot was slipping around while playing. Best of both worlds. My son even made sure to tell me that these shoes were EASY to get off and back on, all by himself. Hallelujah! I don ’ t love the Velcro strap, but I suppose that ’s a necessary element to keep the shoe sturdy on the kids foot. [ We love these shoes! My 1 year old has wide feet and we struggle to find shoes that are comfortable for her. These are perfect! This shoe has enough room for her feet while still fitting snugly to her foot shape. This makes them extremely easy for her to walk in. They are flexible enough to move with her feet but still sturdy enough to hold up to a very busy toddler. I love the black on black design because my daughter can be rough on these shoes and they still look amazing. Possibly my favorite feature though, is how lightweight they are. We have tried other brands in the past and they were heavy and clunky. Not at all ideal for kids who are learning to walk. These shoes have literally everything we were looking for to make learning to walk a breeze! We highly recommend them.

[ First impressions: The Nike Revolution 7 tdv is probably one of our favorite sneakers to put on our little one for a full day out of the house. The toe box is constructed wide which I feel is a must have for babies and toddlers to allow for ample room for the toes and forefoot, while breathable material surrounds and secures the heel in place. The shoe appears to have laces, but they are elastic and fixed in place, which helps keep a snug fit over the top of the foot. Weighing in at just 53g per shoe, this is one of the lightest all around, general purpose shoes we have for our active child. Fit: Fit is true to size, but may also depend on the type of socks being used. We were able to use regular socks with no issue, but if you prefer padded socks, a size up may be a better option. The insole has a lot of cushion and the recycled material of the outsole has some flexibility, so our little one was just fine with regular socks throughout the day with seemingly no discomfort or fatigue. Quality: For a shoe that has integrated recycled materials into the construction, the shoes have held up quite well over the few weeks of use we ’ ve had it. The black on black color way in particular helps with hiding scuffs and the shoes practically retained their nearly brand new look. The upper of the shoe is mostly made of a breathable mesh material with waterproofed toe guards and lace inlets for extra durability. The front and side of the shoe is leather. The top of the front to mid foot of the shoe is a breathable mesh which transitions to a very high quality spandex/polyester material, this aids in the ease of getting the shoe on the foot. The band across the top of the shoes holds the shoe snug to the foot. The attention to detail is unmatched. There is a 1/2- 3/4in stretchy band that connects the leather on the outside with the leather on the inner( outside), this helps to hold true to the name FLEX runner. The sole of the has a surplus of grip, which is much appreciated in this age group, esp because they are forever running! Overall, I would give this shoe a 10/10, highly recommended.

[ I got these shoes for my daughter, who is an AVID fan of being outside, running, climbing- typical toddler stuff. She ca n't really tell me if she likes them, but they 're clearly comfortable and supportive because now I ca n't catch her. They 're slip on, so they 're easy to get on and off, but still seem to hold securely so she's not randomly losing a shoe. The fabric is a really cool patterned design and, even though it's not leather, I think it's going to hold up well. I really like the way they look on her, though I ca n't say I 'm a fan of the partial Swoosh design on the inner edge of the shoes( the Swoosh on the outer side looks great and contrasts nicely, but it appears to just be printed on, so I dunno how long that 'll hold up). The only thing I have mixed feelings about is the sole: it's a fairly soft foam that is flexible. While that's good for some things like climbing, as it allows her foot to contour to whatever she's climbing, the foam itself does n't provide much grip, so flat surfaces that are n't textured or worn smooth( or wet?) may cause a bit of slippage. So far I 'm a big fan of these shoes, and really the only thing I 'd change would be making the sole more grippy. Other than that, I 'm feeling pretty good about these!

[ My son started walking at 10. 5 months and it was hard to find a shoe that had the support he now needs at 1, that didn ’ t have a soft bottom. The soles of these shoes are solid but flexible, which was a big selling point for me. I also love that these look like adult shoes( this is how I prefer to dress him vs “ cute ” things), but have the stretch and back loop for getting them on a wiggly boy. They have been spectacular! She loves that they are light as a feather and have lots of cushioning. The colors are vibrant. The fabric is light and breathable. If she could have designed a shoe on her own, it would have looked like this. Her favorite aspect of these shoes is the way they feel — springy and comfortable. These shoes are very supportive. It could be partly psychological in wearing new shoes that she loves, but she does actually run noticeably faster in these shoes.

When he put them on he said it felt like he was walking on clouds. My son liked the design of the shoe however the yellow/orange/pink combo definitely leans more pink. The fabric is breathable and almost socklike so they wash well but never back to the original gleaming white. My son loved the overall feel of shoe while he was running, jumping and playing. [ I run 40- 50 miles per week and have a large rotation of running shoes to support that. I was excited to try out the Nike Vomero 18s! These shoes are comfortable for easy miles but lightweight and responsive enough to pick up the pace as well. They have a little bit of bounce, but they are not too soft, which I appreciate- my preference for shoes is a bit on the firmer end; I do n't like a big squishy marshmallow. I found them to work well both for outdoor runs as well as on the treadmill. Plus they look great, which is always an added bonus and another reason to reach for these shoes while lacing up! I 'll definitely look forward to running in these Vomeros as I rack up the miles training for my next half marathon.

[ The very first thing we noticed about the Revolution 7s was the colorway. My son calls them “ the blackouts ”. For anyone with a kid who likes to play outside, you will appreciate this because it ’s almost impossible to make these shoes look “ dirty ”. They remind me of Batman, or Knight Rider. They look like a slick, black sports car. The second thing we noticed is the traction on the bottom. It isn ’ t quite “ waffle ”, but reminds me of a car tire. The traction on these shoes is second to none! As my son would say “ I don ’ t slide anymore ”. For people like us who live in the cold Midwest, this is everything. When it gets cold outside, it gets slippery. Not with these. The thick rubber notches on the bottom catch the pavement, even through the frost. If you have a kid who drags their feet a lot, these would be great. It will take a LONG time for the bottoms to wear down. Now let ’s get to the fit. These are a half size up from what my son normally wears, and they fit perfect. Not too tight, but roomy enough that he doesn ’ t feel squished. Normally he hates wearing shoes for long periods, but these are very soft…and I think the biggest compliment he ’s given this pair so far is “ it doesn ’ t even feel like I ’ m wearing shoes ”. That ’s huge for a kid his age! They ’ re very easy to put one. A lot of shoes aren ’ t. Even with a pull tab, the actual shoe is still hard to get on for lower grade school children, especially ones who are always moving 100 mph. These didn ’ t have that problem. The foot hole is plenty spacey, but when you tie your shoes and wear them, it doesn ’ t feel loose. The laces are perfect for this shoe. They stay tied. One issue we ’ ve always had with Nike/Jordan is the shoes coming untied a lot. That hasn ’ t happened yet with these. The padding around the Achilles is awesome. It really helps with comfort. One spot my son always gets “ wear marks ” from his shoes is on the Achilles area, but these have some nice foam protection. This is the perfect everyday shoe. The perfect outside shoe. I wouldn ’ t recommend it for playing inside a gym, as the notches on the bottom soles might get in your way or leave marks, but other than that, these are some of the most versatile shoes you can buy. You can wear them outside. To school. Running. Working. My son loves them for basketball In the driveway. We ’ ve even put them on my son for his school concert when he dressed up. The all black everything really helps you dress them up or down. If I had to recommend these to a certain group, Id say ANYONE with active kids…these will be a godsend. With so many running or lifestyle shoes on the market, these really stood out to us. I will be purchasing this style for my kids for now on when we ’ re looking for outside, school, or running shoes. I can ’ t pass up the traction and the fit. Too many times I buy my kids shoes based on what looks good and the fit isn ’ t the best and they don ’ t wear them much. [ I got these shoes for my daughter and it was love at first sight. Even compared to other Nike kids shoes we have tried, the quality of these shoes feel far superior. The fit is great and the material feels soft, yet sturdy and easy to wipe down. We tried these shoes on just to test the fit and my daughter refused to take them off — amazing for an almost- two year old! These are secure and we haven ’ t had any issues with awkward steps or tripping that sometimes happen with a shoe that is too wide or elevated.
