I didn??? t expect to like these as much as I do. These were perfect for the purpose I bought them for which was for Apple Fitness+ lower body strength workouts. I celebrated my 250th strength workout in these and surprisingly also received the burned the most calories award so I have to believe they definitely contributed to that. I sized down to an 8 from my usual Nike size 8. 5 and glad I did??? the EasyOn coupled with the Hyperlift stability plate makes it so easy to slip on/off. The grip is also phenomenal on these, I??? ll have no issue upping the weight going forward! No cons though note that these are absolutely not running shoes, I wouldn??? t even try as they??? re much too firm/blocky for that.

Love this On Cloudeclipse. Firm and soft, with no plate. I have the cloudmonsters( have a plate) and after I ran in them my calves were in pain, and with the cloudeclipese I don ’ t have that problem. I absolutely love the Guide 18s! I am training for a half marathon, typically run 30- 40 miles a week. The past few months, I 've gone through several other shoes, had lots of trouble with blisters. This is my first pair of proper running shoes and I love them so far! Used to run in some old Asics I got on clearance, but now that I ’ m getting into running more consistently I bought these. I have very flat feet and collapsed arches, and these were recommended for me because of their supportive centre path tech. The first 5k i ran in these I got nasty blisters on the insides of the my feet where my arch was being held up. If this is the case for you, don ’ t give up on these shoes yet. I wish I had broken them in more slowly but they are super comfortable now. Ran my first 10K in these shoes, something I never thought I ’ d be able to do after having some pretty nasty shin splints and knee pain from playing soccer my whole life. I totally recommend these to any fellow flat footed runner, especially if you ’ re just starting out. I ’ ve taken them on trails, pavement, track, and they feel fantastic.

The first couple of times I wore these, I wasn ’ t sure. I had been wearing Sketchers pickleball shoes, and these were less cushy but have better arch support. Although they don ’ t feel as soft when I wear them, I have much less foot and knee discomfort after I ’ m done playing. They did take a little bit to break in, but now that I ’ m used to them I can see that they provide far more support. I ’ ll definitely be back for another pair when these wear out.
