I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

When they say FJ are top of the line golf shoes, they mean it. I typically have to size up two whole sizes when purchasing tennis shoes, however, the 7. 5( which is true to size for me) fit perfect on my narrow feet! I also wasn ’ t sure what size to order so I read all the reviews and decided on a 9 medium. I typically wear a n 8 1/2 but because I had broken a toe a few years ago I thought the half size larger would work better for me. I was so surprised when I tried them on and they fit perfectly with no discomfort to my toe. Last week I played 18 holes with them and commented to my friends numerous times how comfortable and lightweight they were. I love footjoys and I love these the best!!! I have narrow feet so I think they may not fit as well on someone whose feet are thicker. They are classic, beautiful shoes.

I got 4 or 5 seasons out of my previous Foot Joy shoe, the Helix D. N. A., so I was only buying Foot Joy this time. Seeing as I knew I wanted another pair, and that I wanted to replace them with a top of the line version, the FJ Pro/SLX Carbon's were my top choice. I have worn them about 4 times now, and feet feel fresh after each use, not tired. They come standard with Orthopedic insoles, so I have yet to buy a pair of Pine Valley Orthotics, like I had with my DNS's. For me, these are the perfect shoe. Great looks and great comfort. The price is a little on the higher side, sure, but if you treat them well, you 'll get several season out of them.
