The helmet is great, and fits larger heads. However, the picture is not accurate. I received a yellow helmet with black writing, not the green with blue writing shown in the picture. REI's website has the correct picture for the matte lime color.

I saw an expert review rating this helmet very high. I wanted to get the technologically advanced MIPS feature which it has. The helmet is very lightweight, has a lot of vents to keep me cooler on long rides in summer heat. I passed up the dark red and black helmet that would have looked great with my bike in order to get the bright white color that would be more visible to motorists. It is lighter weight than the good Bell helmet I replaced, and the straps are lighter, more flexible material. Very pleased with this helmet.

This is both my first Giro brand helmet and my first MIPS technology helmet. I like how Giro has the side straps set already so that's two less buckles to adjust and loosen on their own. Coming from Bell helmets I had to get used to adjusting the straps by pulling to center them each wear no biggie for better comfort. Speaking of comfort the dial to tighten in the back is much better than Bell helmets. The MIPS technology allows the helmet to move slightly while staying right to your head to reduce injury in a collision. As a former racer, courier, and bicycle commuter I can feel how that would help. I hope I never need it Overall the best helmet I 've ever owned.

I ride MTB and Road; thus, I have tried several helmets including Specialized. However, none of them fit quite right. Some of them fit them loose some others very tight. This helmet has the perfect fit. The straps are high end quality, the color and shape is just beautiful, nothing less than the best of the best. For this price this is a bargain. I am so happy and impressed with my purchase, I did the review without a request.

My partner and I went looking for a new bike helmet since she needed a new one. We did n't want one that was cheap, but we also did n't want a crazy expensive one. We wanted something in the middle that was still of good quality. We looked at multiple ones in the store and ended up settling on this one. It was the best quality for the price and was n't overdone design/extras wise. She has used it since then and has been very pleased with it!

This is my 3rd generation of Giro helmet. ive already logged a few hundred miles with it. Great fit. Well ventilated. This is my first helmet with the new MIPS system. The helmet does cover a little more of your head. Not uncomfortable, but did take a little getting used to.
