I originially bought the yeti 110 when they were in desert tan, i loved this cooler it has been all over the mountains of se oklahoma in jeeps and my rzr, and seen many miles from the back of my work truck, it had plenty of room for drinks and food for me and my crew, i always choose to use my personal yeti cooler because of the longevity of ice.. Recently a theif thought he needed it worse than i did cut my cables and it was gone.. But from my experience with my old one i bought a new one and will make sure it goes inside anytime im going to be out of the truck for an extended period, i highly recomend the 110 and using quality restraints and security devices because they are in a high demand in other cultures..

My sister and her husband have a Tundra110 on their boat. Not only did it hold ice for several days, it provided a place to sit- even in 3'- 4' waves while moving across a lake at 50+ mph. I do n't know what the specifications of the handles are; but it held me firmly planted on a wild ride! Thank God there is no video!:)

We ’ ve had our 110 for half the summer and it has surpassed my skeptical expectations. After using it for a couple back to back weekends on the Colorado River above Moab in 100+ degree heat I ’ m a believer. What ’s really made an impact is that after sitting in a raft all weekend and then a few more days in the sun of our driveway, there is still ice! Regarding strength, some friends of ours have a Tundra 125 that floated away after high siding a rock on the Dolores River above the Pumphouse take out this spring. Their cooler was found by another party over 5 miles downstream after passing through the notorious Snaggletooth rapids and multiple class 3 sections of river. The cooler had one character adding gouge but was otherwise unscathed.

I bought this cooler a few weeks ago to replace my few year old busted and cracked( insert other brand here) cooler that was destroyed by the sun. As a full time fishing guide my coolers get abused especially since they sit in full sun every day. My 2 year old 75qt yeti that I use as a casting platform on the bow still looks like new! This is what steered me to purchase the 160. Paired with the seat cushion that took 5 minutes to install I love it!

I bought this cooler for long back county trips with clients. It provides plenty of size while still fitting nicely in the bed of a standard pickup. The depth is not too deep and the length is not too long. We debated on the 160 vs 210, but for food practicality we decided on the 160 due to the depth difference. Will be purchasing more in the future.

[ This is my first Yeti cooler( recommended by a friend who owns multiple Yeti coolers). It lives up to it's stellar reputation and keeps things cold for days at a time during warm weather camping trips. Best to use with freezer packs( either the hard type that Yeti sells or the soft type, such as Cooler Shock). Like any cooler, it's a bit heavy to move around when fully loaded, definitely need two people. I would highly recommend!!

Wheels are great for transporting. ... Bigger than our other YETI, that we also used, but this has wheels on it so we could load it up heavy and not worry about
5
cheddemier
It's definitely bigger than you think because of the heavy duty insulation. Some might find the metal handle protrudes too much for them when collapsed but it does n't bother my family. I like that the rubber securing latches are actually replaceable, and you can get them from Yeti and find lots of videos to remove/replace in case you ever need to. And the drain plug is a godsend- why so many companies cheap out there is beyond me? We have n't purchased any of the accessories yet but plan to at some point. Overall it's definitely a little expensive but having been through so many cheaper coolers that eventually failed sooner than they should have, we 're counting on the YETI quality to go the distance.

This is a great solo use cooler for me. It fits a need when it ’s just me( fitting a deli sandwich, sides, snacks, and a few drinks). I will use this for work meals, fishing, picnic for 1- 2, taking to the ballpark, long drives, etc. It ’s a little bigger inside than the flip 8 and the hard cooler option allows use as a table or seat. Tie down slots are integrated into the comfortable new small haul handle and includes a rubber grip for wet hands and good grip when full, though I like the optional double duty strap you can buy for hands free use. Fits more than it looks like it should. Great compliment to my roadie 15 and tundra 35. Size may not be for everyone but then, neither is the tundra 160. For those needing to fit this size and use need, it might be perfect.

This cooler really has everything I was looking for in a performance cooler. The insulation is great. It has secure closing tabs. It has a drain plug. It has a bottle opener. It is a little on the heavy side but all of the good in this cooler can not happen without some weight. Having said that, this cooler is much lighter than many of its competitors. Some folks dig on coolers not keeping cool as long as advertised. It is important to realize that if you put ice/drinks/food in a warm cooler you are bound to have some initial melting just to bring the temperature down. Add some ice prior to using the cooler and it will last really well. No question it's a great deal for what you get.

EdSled
The trail mate cooler is the perfect size for the backseat of your car. Having the ability to keep ice upwards of 4- 6 days is a great feature when traveling. The drain plug, which many coolers don ’ t have anymore in this size, allows you to urge water and add needed ice. For two people traveling we find it the perfect size for our needs. Also the weight of the cooler was a big factor in this purchase

I have a similar cooler from Igloo. I bought this one as a raffle prize for our golf tournament. Very well made and I like the handle and like the rubber lock down latches. The comparable size Yeti keeps your stuff cold for$ 250. This cooler keeps your stuff cold for$ 100. You decide if its worth it.
5
AL2005
I like the Trailmate 25. It is big but not bulky or too heavy like some coolers in this size range. It has a metal handle with a nice rubberized grip on it. While similar to other models Igloo offers, this cooler has a seal in the lid, improved rubber latches, drain plug, and heavy duty hinges on the back. It is made in USA which I appreciate and is very solid. Not sure how many total days it can retain ice, since I only use for weekend use. I hope this lasts me many years. Overall I would recommend this cooler. Minor issues that could be improved: 1. I would like the handle to `` lock '' in the upright position to reduce the cooler from swaying side to side while carrying it. 2. The notches where the rubber latches secure are hollow underneath. This allows the latches to scrape/scuff the plastic edges which could possibly wear down overtime. 3. The drain plug could be a tad lower in the cooler so it does n't have to be tipped to drain the last remaining water. 4. I added no- skid furniture pads to the bottom to reduce scratches and scuffs and increase grip for transportation.

The Igloo ICF 32 its a fair- sized option for a smaller vehicle. I 've had it for about a month and one trip. It has so far held well and worked in both the vehicle as well as indoor. The compressor noise is quite low but is there. The one option that would be useful is a wheel that would allow one person to move the cooler easily. So far no major drawbacks but then I 've just owned it for a month and hopefully this lasts long given it's not so cheap price tag.

I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! I will be using the cooler on all my hunting trips in the future!

I 've had at least 3 other models of Igloo branded coolers in the past and have loved them all. We normally use a pair of trail mate journeys, so this is about the same volume as what we 're used to, but the exterior is much more compact( no wheels or extra exterior parts/compartments) and not needing the ice will help get a lot more packed in. Where we use the trailmate for going camping, this will be used for a multi- week trip with multiple nights in hotels along the way to where we 're going. We 're going to be staying about an hour from a grocery store, so having a vehicle refrigerator will help a lot with surviving more days between trips to the store. This will go in the back of our SUV each day and plug into the car for power, moving it to the hotel each night to plug in. I have a battery pack with 220Whr of capacity, but from my tests within my house it wo n't be enough to leave it running off of this in the car overnight. I like that this has a good rubber seal and it sucks tight when you try to open it, so no air leaks like a typical cooler. I 'd like to see it with a bit thicker of a wall so that it would run a bit more efficiently, though it really does n't take that much power. I 'm also glad this is n't a thermoelectric cooler, like the ones that were popular in the 1990s. The unit does n't make much noise, so it wo n't wake anyone up or keep anyone up in the hotel rooms, at least no more than my snoring. From using rv refrigerators, I know one thing that will help me keep my food cool is a battery operated fan running inside the cooler to keep the air moving inside.

I was provided this cooler for free in exchange for my honest review. This is a great cooler. I have always wanted one of the Yeti or Rtic coolers but never wanted to pay the price for a cooler of that quality. This cooler made by Dick ’s Sporting Goods( DSG) is just as good as either of those brands. Upon receiving the cooler, I was very impressed with the quality of the cooler, all of the different parts feel well made and durable which is important when you take your cooler on all of your adventures. I like the rope handles on each side. I find those far more comfortable than coolers I have had in the past with plastic handles molded into the plastic. The rope feels very durable. The dual latches that keep the lid firmly shut are also very easy to open which is important since you need to keep the lid firmly closed to keep the ice frozen for the full 7 days the cooler claims to make. I started off filling up this cooler with ice and some drinks for a fun day at the park, then it started raining while the temperature dropped close to freezing. So instead, I had to leave the cooler inside and decided to see how long the ice would last in a 73 degree room. The photos show the ice over a few days. It is currently day 5 and the cooler has at half of the ice we started with. I have yet to find any flaws with this cooler. If I ever do, I ’ ll update this review with my findings.

The DSG Victory 48 Quart Performance Cooler is definitely a must have for any family, whether you 're sitting at the field for your sports event, tailgating or just want a Cooler for the car. This cooler offers space and keeps your items cool even without ice. We 've used this for husband's landscaping company in his truck, tailgating at major sports events and at the soccer field for practice. I ca n't wait to use it for hiking and kayaking. I am writing an unbiased review of the 48qt DSG Victory Cooler in red color. I am a paid endorser and recieved free product. First thoughts on the cooler is it shipped in a nice DSG( Dicks Sporting Goods) box. The box arrived without any damages noticed. The red color is not a flashy red, but nothing stands out of the color. Upon first eye inspection the cooler has a nice modern look to it. Material feels sturdy including the attached bottle opener and rope style handles.. The clamp and latch style lid closure is a nice feature. Drain is an easy to access and use screw style cap. MADE IN USA. Upon inspection, I noticed one small thing that may or may not be a concern to some people. I noticed when closed and pressed on the lid a bit, I could hear air escaping from the cooler. This means that there is a small void that air can get in and out of maybe releasing some of the trapped temperature. I believe this is due to a small gap in the rubber seal along the back of the lid. This may or may not affect the overall performace of the cooler. Overall this cooler and its durability seem to be a great purchase for someone looking for a cooler that performs the same or better as much more expensive coolers. I put a bit of ice, ice packs, and cokes into the cooler to leave in my uninsulated garage due to a nice long week of higher temperatures than usual. I also threw in the back of my truck to drive around to vary temps some more. This gives testing some colder nights, and warmer days. The cooler held the ice and still has ice in it from 5 days ago. My drinks stayed cold, and each trip to the cooler had frigid temps inside when I would open to check or get a drink. Solid cooler and look forward to using it much more!

This review is for the DSG Victory 48 qt Performance Cooler. The cooler is an all around good cooler. It's well built, and is made in the USA! It has a built in bottle opener. Large carry handles. A large drain. The latches for the lid are sturdy. As shown in my pictures it will hold twenty- eight 16oz bottles. It was able to hold a 5 gallon bucket of ice on the bottles. This is my main use of a cooler. I keep a cooler with drinks in my truck year round. The ice retention was good and drinks stay cold for days, even with continued opening of the cooler. The cooler does n't have a wire basket. This cooler should last for years to come. I am a paid endorser and have received free product.

These hard coolers tend to be heavy- this is the perfect size for enough to hold everything you need, without needing 2 people to lift it. The hard handle which other brands have gone away from is great for putting it down and not having to bend down to pick it up- and this one fixes one of the major flaws where it will snap into place, but very easily moves to a stowed position. Some other brands the upright position is far too rigid and takes an extra hand on the cooler to stow it. Similarly, on other brands the all- rubber latches are a huge pain to open the cooler- this has rubber straps with a cam- action handle, so you get the benefit of the rubber always pulling it close, but it can easily be opened with 1 hand. I put about 5lbs of ice into a warm cooler in a warm house and it took 72 hours to melt- I believe 10+lbs would last the claimed 5 days. Built in bottle opener that is also often missing on these hard coolers. Screams America in the red color, and made in USA.

I put the DSG Victory 28 Quart Performance Cooler to the test for the biggest game of the year — Super Bowl Sunday — and it delivered! I filled it with ice the day before the game to save time, and by kickoff the next day, the ice was still solid, keeping our drinks perfectly chilled. The 28- quart size is ideal for tailgates, backyard parties, road trips, or camping trips. It ’s compact enough to carry easily but still holds plenty of drinks and snacks. The rugged construction and secure latches give it a premium feel, and the insulation is top- notch. I also appreciate the built- in bottle opener — a small but smart feature that makes game day even easier. This one is a winner if you ’ re looking for a reliable, durable, and well- insulated cooler. The DSG Victory cooler keeps everything cold and ready to go when you are. I highly recommend it!

I got this cooler Superbowl weekend, and we put it right to use, and it did great. It looks excellent, and it ’s sturdy and stable for sure. After the game, we left it sit in the warm garage in Florida for 4 days, and everything was still good and cold. We cleaned it out and repacked for the beach the next weekend, and it worked perfect. Just the right size and durable. Luckily the lid locks so we didn ’ t lose anything when our son knocked it over chasing a frisbee. Still looks pristine, looking forward to some more upcoming adventures!! Next to see if it fits on the Kayak!

Our DSG victory cooler has been an absolutely amazing addition to our daily life. We have used it to travel the 40 miles into town and grab groceries which were needed for the week. It kept ice frozen and the food cold and even after we emptied the food out the ice remained behind for days afterwards. Not only does it have awesome ice keeping abilities, it is also the perfect size to fit in the back of our car and is easy to carry with the heavy duty adjustable handle. We absolutely love our cooler! I am a paid endorser and have received free products.

I was really happy when I got the message that I would get to review one of these DSG Victory coolers. I was even happier after I saw how good it was. It's the coldest part of the year in the High Forest of Tennessee but before I received this cooler I was still having to buy ice every 3rd day. This cooler has kept my ice for 5 days and counting. I do n't keep a very heavily stocked cooler but I do require ice for water throughout the day. Buying ice just to have ice water is one of the indulgences I allow myself while I 'm in my wander years. This cooler has relieved the last of my stress around always having ice and best of all my cost is down from 30/mth to 18/mth, not to mention the gas saved from store runs. This cooler looks good, right out of the box. I got the grey and I 'm very happy with it. It has an easy to carry handle that frees up one hand so you can carry your fishing rod too. The handle is metal and very sturdy and well machined. The latches are heavy duty materials that securely close and seal the cooler, allowing for no temperature leaks. The box itself is deep and is made of something sturdy enough that you do n't have to worry about that big trout breaking it when you toss it in there. The exterior is molded in ways that support its role as a top notch cooler. I 'm about 225 and I feel solid when I sit on it. There's a built- in bottle opener, which is courtesy of the real metal used for the lock. All these good things and it's made in the USA. I took the cooler to work a couple times this week. [ My husband has wanted a Yeti for as long as I can remember, but I was not sure that we needed to make the investment. I finally gave in, and( dangit) now I have to tell him he was right! We took our brand new Yeti on a week long vacation to the woods in Montana and it kept all its promises. But here's what really convinced me: when we got back home, I took it to town to get groceries to re- stock our fridge. It was 101 degrees and I had an hour drive back home with our food. The Yeti kept my ice cream frozen! Glad we took the leap.

[ I bought this cooler a bit more than a month ago and have only had a few opportunities to play with it so far. Not once have I been disappointed! The ice stays cold, I did the first test by tossing a sacrificial bag of ice in the cooler to pre- chill it but that ice only melted about 3/4 cup so had a spare bag of ice just lying around. The tips are perfect as well for loading. I only wish the cooler dividers had a few more options, namely a 3/4 divider widthwise instead of only splitting it 50/50.

We got this for use around our pool so family& friends could easily refill a cup or water bottle. Fill it with a bag of ice then water and the 3- gallon capacity works great! One drawback is that because it ’s sealed well, there is no venting for air displacement. Just need to pop the lid open slightly to get the water to flow well.

Outstanding! Purchased the ICF 18 a month ago and used for 8 days straight without any problem. We found our perfect temp was 34 degrees. This cooler was spot on with the temperature although the smaller compartment above the compressor was just a few degrees higher. We opted to use that area for soda cans and items that weren ’ t as sensitive to temperature. The main area kept things really cold. I used a refrigerator thermometer before our trip and felt the internal thermometer was spot on within a degree or two. For longer trips or families the 32( size wise might be better), but we are happy with our choice! The unit was powered with a portable power supply that kept our Igloo running all day while driving with power to spare! To be fair, the Igloo was in a climate controlled car nearly all the time. Hope this helps and we would highly recommend the Igloo ICF 18. It is also very quiet as someone else mentioned. The cooler( fully loaded) was also manageable for a couple of seniors to lift in and out of our car. Good job and Thank you Igloo!!!

This 65- quart hard cooler is a beast, and I put it through a real test. Performance& Features Capacity& Size – 5/5 Fits 64 cans+ ice with ease. Perfect for camping, tailgates, and large gatherings. Portability& Wheels – 4/5 Wheels& Flip Handle: Solid, smooth on rough terrain. Side Handles: Too narrow — felt like crimping a V6 boulder route when lifting fully loaded. Ice Retention& Insulation – 5/5 Held ice for 72 hours with regular use — thick walls do their job well. Durability& Build – 5/5 Survived drops, rocks, and even a skatepark session. Bonus: doubles as a sturdy bench. Features& Convenience – 4. 5/5 Latches: Some of the best I ’ ve used — secure and easy. Drain Plug: Water spills onto handle grips, which pick up dirt/grass. Overall: 4. 7/5 Final Verdict: This cooler is an absolute unit. If you need big capacity, solid build, and long ice retention, this is the one to get. Highly recommend!

I really like this 65qt cooler, the wheels make it so much easier to move it around and the colors choices are fun. I got the blue cooler and love the color! It seems like it is very durable, very insulated with thick walls and lid. There is a rubber seal on the lid that seals the cooler more efficiently. I love how the cooler has a locking option, to keep the kids out of it or when traveling to secure it. We had a fire over the weekend, filled the cooler with ice and drinks. It was also used as a chair by a fire. It did not get hot and the drinks were still cold. We left the remaining drinks and ice to see how long it would take to melt. I was surprised that they were still cold and had some of the ice melted days, several later, it has been 5 days and we still have ice. I placed my hand in the cooler, and you could feel that it was still very very cold. I am very impressed with how long it stays cold in the cooler. When you shut the lid, there is room so you are not squishing drinks or food with the lid down. My dog loves it too, she loves ice!! I am very excited to use it on camp trips this summer. It will also be used as a table and chair. It is the right height to play games on or use as a table while cooking outdoors. I love to Dutch oven and this height is perfect! I love how the cooler has wheels, the built- in bottle opener, and high quality insulation of the cooler. Love that it is made in the USA!! The only issue with the cooler is, lacking an additional handle to pick up the cooler, the lifting handle above the wheels could have been designed for easier gripping. There is a slight indent for a handle, but a gripping one would be better. Overall I love this cooler! I am a paid endorser and have received free product. Yes, I recommend this product.

Disclosure: I received the DSG Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler free of charge in exchange for my open and honest product review. The made in the USA DSG Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler exceeded my expectations. This cooler is built to impress, offering both functionality and durability for outdoor adventures. Here ’s my breakdown of the features: Capacity& Ice Retention: With a 65- quart capacity, this cooler is perfect for larger gatherings, camping trips, or tailgates. It can hold up to 75 cans or 67 pounds of ice, which makes it ideal for extended outings. The real standout is its 8 days of ice retention. That ’s a game- changer for those who enjoy extended outdoor activities without having to worry about constantly replenishing ice. Durability& Design: The thick foam insulated walls make this cooler incredibly durable, and it feels built to last. Whether it ’s handling bumps and drops or enduring the weight of heavy ice and drinks, the Victory cooler stands strong. The dual rugged wheels are another great feature, making it easy to move even when fully packed with ice and beverages. It rolls smoothly over gravel, grass, and pavement without a hassle. Seal& Drainage: The gasket seal lid ensures a tight fit, locking in cold air and keeping your contents chilled longer. I ’ ve had issues with other coolers in the past losing their coolness due to poor seals, but this one keeps everything crisp and fresh. The large threaded drain plug is also a thoughtful addition – no more struggling to tilt a heavy cooler to drain the water. The plug makes it easy to let out the melted ice without making a mess. Handle& Portability: The large heavy duty metal handle with rubber grips makes moving the cooler much more comfortable, even when it ’s full. I love how secure the grip feels in my hands, and it gives me confidence when transporting it over rough terrain. The handle is strong enough to withstand the weight, and the rubber grips add extra comfort during longer hauls. Final Thoughts: The DSG Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler is a solid investment for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. With its impressive ice retention, rugged design, and convenient features, it ’s built to handle whatever you throw at it. Whether you ’ re a weekend camper, a tailgater, or a fishing enthusiast, this cooler has all the right features to keep your food and drinks cold for extended periods. Highly recommended!

A cooler lid with a gasket is designed to create a tight seal that helps maintain the internal temperature of the cooler. This feature minimizes heat exchange with the outside environment, keeping ice and contents cold for longer periods. The gasket also prevents leaks, ensuring that liquids stay contained within the cooler.
A gasket enhances the performance of a cooler lid by providing an airtight seal when the lid is closed. This seal reduces the amount of warm air that enters the cooler, which helps to preserve ice and keep beverages cold. Additionally, a well-fitted gasket can help prevent spills and maintain the integrity of the cooler's contents.
Cooler lids with gaskets are typically made from durable materials such as rotomolded plastic or high-density polyethylene. These materials are designed to withstand rough outdoor conditions while providing insulation. The gaskets themselves are often made from rubber or silicone, which offer flexibility and a strong seal.
Yes, cooler lids with gaskets are suitable for a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, tailgating, and picnicking. Their ability to maintain temperature and prevent spills makes them ideal for keeping food and drinks cold during extended outings. The durability of the materials used also ensures they can handle rugged environments.
To ensure a cooler lid with a gasket will fit your cooler, check the dimensions of both the cooler and the lid. It's important to look for compatibility specifications provided by the manufacturer. Additionally, many cooler brands offer replacement lids designed specifically for their models, which can help ensure a proper fit.
