When pulled they give a thumping vibration, that's a big part of its attraction, as well as very good action for a deep jerkbait. Compared to the elite KVD 1. 5 which is a standard go- to lure in tournament fishing, the deep diver allows for the extra depth necessary to reach those hard to reach areas with steep elevation changes such as rock ledges, hard bluffs, or even deep grass ridden areas with hard roots. The KVD 200 dives between 4- 7 feet on a braid to 10 lb, 12 foot fluorocarbon leader depending on how far you cast and how long you crank it down. I 'm able to cast it like a bullet on both a spinning and baitcasting rod because of the weight transfer system and shape of the bait. It has a wide, erratic darting action that works well to trigger a strike. The bait does suspend on the pause in water temps between 62 F and 72 F that I 've used it. I was very impressed with the realism of the natural bream color I ordered and it seemed to fool the bass too. Sharp hooks, but not sticky sharp. Overall a good jerkbait to keep in my rotation that does n't break the bank.
