Awesome! Got these looking for more arch support in a sandal and hoping to wear them hiking. Just wore them for 6+ miles of backpacking with no issue, super comfortable! Only thing I 'd change is the ability to tighten the straps more, I have relatively narrow feet and tightening them all the way does n't quite do it.( Not a deal breaker though) I sized down a half size and was able to comfortably hike in them while wearing 2 pairs of wool socks.

These are more comfortable than my other pair of Volv chacos due to the thicker straps on the mega cloud. The buckle strap will loosen on me but it the sandals stay tight enough though the toes and arch that they still feel secure. One thing that was odd to me is these came with a plastic buckle instead of the metal one that was advertised. However this is n't a deal breaker to me. Just something to note.

I just spent 3 weeks in the Bahamas with this sandal. It performed exceptionally well. I spent time at Atlantis water park, went on 4 fishing charter, scrambled on very jagged limestone reef, walked miles around Nassau, etc The sole is very sticky, even when wet. The sole is also very tough. I hiked on some very nasty, sharp, pointy, jagged limestone reef with no issues. I was very impressed with how well these performed.

Extremely comfortable, short break in time. When I bought these they fit almost snug, but after a couple months I started to notice my shoe was getting wider to the point where I could shift my foot around too much. The footbed has sunk. So after a year of still trying to wear these out they still have the same durability they had since new. I can take several mile hikes in these and they are still comfortable. So my complaints. They do not grip well in creek, river rock beds. I have to wash them constantly, like every other time I wear them because they burn my feet? I don ’ t know how to explain it but I ’ m sure it ’s from sweating. Buuuuut as a long time sandal wearer, I ’ ve never experienced this sensation. So I think they could be lighter. They are sandals after all. We wear sandals because we want to wear next to nothing. For this price I would expect a lighter sandal. Actually ALL KEENS could be lighter. A lighter less aggressive opened toe version of this sandal would be my dream sandal. I will be buying another pair unless I find my sole mate first

First things first, you will want to go up half a size. I have heard this many times snd it is true. I am a size 7 1/2 exactly and the 8 fits like a glove. The width is perfect for me and the comfort is amazing. Great with shorts or jeans, and perfect if you have to get your feet wet to “ retrieve ” your retriever. Also a great deck shoe on the boat. I was not payed or compensated for this review, but let ’s face it, I should have been!

Bought these for a trip down the Colorado river in the Grand Canton. The shoes were great for 6 days in the raft as well as river/creek walking and day hikes over serious rocks. I looked last year for the Daytona sandals, and thought they discontinued them. I currently own 4 pair of Daytona 's and at least 10 pair of other Keen shoes love them. I wear a 9. 5 and always buy a 10 in Keen shoes. Also, my foot is narrow, and they fit me perfect. The first pair lasted about 4 years and I 'm not too hard on shoes. If you try Keen shoes, you will be hooked and will want another pair.

Daniel, Lisa and two other employees provided me with a genuinely thoughtful and caring customer service experience that you just don ’ t encounter as often in the world we live in today and I just wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to all these folks for, not only their knowledge and attentiveness to my needs to make it a truly hassle- free experience, but also for their authentic care and kindness. It was a breath of fresh air to encounter employees that actually care about providing that caliber of customer service and, in my experience working in retail and customer service, that is often a reflection of a company that still operates on good values- which is extremely endearing to see these days! On a last note- I really want to make sure the other two employees get kudos here because they also helped me immensely but I did not get their names… and please, please pardon me here for the sake of identification in our modern world of pc pronouns and whatnot… but the third employee, was a female with no hair — and you were absolutely glowing, my friend, and rocking the non- do btw! I really like my new OluKai Tuahine sandals. The leather is high quality and the footbed is ergonomically molded to fit your foot perfectly. There are no painful areas you sometimes find with sandals where the strap rubs your foot funny. These sandals look really sharp and are comfortable for several hours, but they lack the cushioning to be comfortable for all day use, in my opinion. The footbed does not have much squish and is rather firm, so you 'll find your feet getting tired if worn walking about for 4+ hours. Still love these sandals.
