Awesome! Got these looking for more arch support in a sandal and hoping to wear them hiking. Just wore them for 6+ miles of backpacking with no issue, super comfortable! Only thing I 'd change is the ability to tighten the straps more, I have relatively narrow feet and tightening them all the way does n't quite do it.( Not a deal breaker though) I sized down a half size and was able to comfortably hike in them while wearing 2 pairs of wool socks.

I 've been wearing them for several weeks now and wore them for a week of wet weather in Oregon. Overall the traction( grip) is great, comfort is good, and quality appears to be goid as well. No sore spots, but the `` neoprene '' padding covering the plastic triangle is cut shorter than my previous pair of Tevas and likes to fold under my foot everytime I put them on. Once straightened, it stays in place but is a little bit annoying each time I put them on.

These are more comfortable than my other pair of Volv chacos due to the thicker straps on the mega cloud. The buckle strap will loosen on me but it the sandals stay tight enough though the toes and arch that they still feel secure. One thing that was odd to me is these came with a plastic buckle instead of the metal one that was advertised. However this is n't a deal breaker to me. Just something to note.

I liked the idea of the wider straps( which are in fact just a hair over 30mm, despite being described as 35mm in some places) but was n't so sure about the metal buckle. Turns out the wider straps really are more comfortable. The metal buckle seems like it might be very slightly more prone to slippage than the plactic ones, but it has n't been an issue after a couple of weeks of active use. I have n't gone wading through any strong currents in these yet, though...

I just spent 3 weeks in the Bahamas with this sandal. It performed exceptionally well. I spent time at Atlantis water park, went on 4 fishing charter, scrambled on very jagged limestone reef, walked miles around Nassau, etc The sole is very sticky, even when wet. The sole is also very tough. I hiked on some very nasty, sharp, pointy, jagged limestone reef with no issues. I was very impressed with how well these performed.

First things first, you will want to go up half a size. I have heard this many times snd it is true. I am a size 7 1/2 exactly and the 8 fits like a glove. The width is perfect for me and the comfort is amazing. Great with shorts or jeans, and perfect if you have to get your feet wet to “ retrieve ” your retriever. Also a great deck shoe on the boat. Thank goodness they now make these in wide. I tried a size up in the normal width sandal and it was awful. These fit great once broken in. At first, I thought they were a tad tight, but after days of wearing them not a problem anymore.

I looked last year for the Daytona sandals, and thought they discontinued them. I currently own 4 pair of Daytona 's and at least 10 pair of other Keen shoes love them. I wear a 9. 5 and always buy a 10 in Keen shoes. Also, my foot is narrow, and they fit me perfect. The first pair lasted about 4 years and I 'm not too hard on shoes. If you try Keen shoes, you will be hooked and will want another pair.

I own multiple models of OluKai leather flip flops and they are all well crafted and a big step above most other flips. The few pairs I own all needed some wear to soften up and mold to my feet; once they do break- in, they are comfortable and supportive. I was n't even a flip flow person, until I discovered OluKai. I thought there would not be enough support, but they provide adequate or above arch support. The Mea Ola, Hiapo and Mekila models I own are all made with high quality leather uppers, leather- covered footbed and have a leather wrapped outsole with rubber- like pods that provide good grip even in wet conditions. They 're all comparable in terms of quality and comfort as well as stylish good looks. For flip flops, the OluKais are among the best- looking ones around. One issue I noted with the Mekila models that differs form the others is the stitching on the insole is a little rough against bare skin, which might be a little irritating. In the other OluKai models, the stitching is not as pronounced and the leather insole actually feels very nice against the feet. This might be a little nit- picky, but it is noticeable. Still, it 's not enough to take away from the overall quality and comfort. Also, please note, the OluKai leather sandals mentioned above, including the Mekila, all /run somewhat small; order the next size up for a better fit.

I really like my new OluKai Tuahine sandals. The leather is high quality and the footbed is ergonomically molded to fit your foot perfectly. There are no painful areas you sometimes find with sandals where the strap rubs your foot funny. These sandals look really sharp and are comfortable for several hours, but they lack the cushioning to be comfortable for all day use, in my opinion. The footbed does not have much squish and is rather firm, so you 'll find your feet getting tired if worn walking about for 4+ hours. Still love these sandals. These are a pricey sandal, but I expect they will last a long time and be worth the investment.
