I liked the comfort of walking with no high arch. With these sneakers I had to add another light thin insert for more comfort in walking. These sneakers should come with a shoe horn. I ordered a 6. 5 and they are correct from toe to heel- not much extra room, but pretty standard sizing. I do, however, have slightly wider feet and I find the boots to be very snug.
