I bought the Field and Stream wacky rigger and EVERY one of the included O- rings split when I tried to slide them over the shaft of the tool! Fortunately I purchased a couple of packs of the O- rings and randomly sampled three from each pack. All worked perfectly so I pre- rigged a number of worms and had no problems. Spend a couple of extra bucks and buy these if you buy the Field and Stream rigger!!!

I never could find these in a local tackle shop and very rarely shop online. Once I found these at Dicks and tried them, I was hooked. It lets you use your Senko's or other stick baits for longer. I used to get maybe 25 casts or catch 1 fish and my worm would fly off. With the O ring I get many more casts and fish catches with the same stick bait.

A couple of years ago I switched over to Berkley Nanofil braid from regular monofilament. I love braid because it has no memory and I have never had a birds nest of tangled spinning line since I switched to Nanofil. However since braid is super slippery it is pretty difficult to tie a piece of monofilament to braid for a leader. I use a Palomar knot to attach the swivel to the braided line and I attach a piece of 10# to 15# mono, about 3' long, on to the other end of the swivel with an improved clinch knot.
