I stopped playing tennis in my early 60's after breaking an ankle. I purchase two of these braces and am now back on the court playing singles at age 75. I 'm an avid volley ball player that severely rolled my right ankle, tearing 4 ligaments. After rehabilitation, doc said I could n't play unless I had tie up ankle braces on. Since then, I 've always worn them. They 've saved my ankle numerous times from collapsing and giving out just on transitions not even landing on another foot. I love having the straps for extra side support. The only downside is that I play A LOT and the braces wear down after a year or so. And the price is pretty high. But Hey, I can play the sport I love.

I broke my ankle and had to wear a boot for 6 weeks. I was very nervous after removing the boot and my doctor gave me an air cast to walk in. Well, needless to say it did not do much good for me. I purchased this brace and I could n't be any happier. I still have a limp being that I 've been off the crutches for only 3 days but this brace gives me the confidence I need to get back walking/running again. Only bad thing I have to say is the length of time it takes to put on but after a few times you will get a lot quicker. Give at least 3 days to break it in and it feels a lot more comfortable.
