I 'll start with the not great part first. Break in period was tough- probably b/c prior to this, I have n't skated since the Mighty Ducks franchise was in theaters. Once broken in, these babies fit like a perfectly- worn glove and they perform like Kobe in the clutch. Agile, fast, smooth, and supportive, my Twister XTs are BY FAR the best skates I 've ever worn. As good as advertised, do yourself a favor. Stop looking and buy yourself a pair.

I have used Lightning TRSs, Twisters, and Maxxums for the last 30 years. This is the best skate ever for Skate to Ski. It ’s stiffer than other skates so the support is outstanding. The new liner and footbed fit great. It fits so well that I took off the 45 deg buckle. I also put on a frame for bigger 90mm wheels. Great job Rollerblade!

Endurance skates are designed specifically for long-distance skating, emphasizing comfort, stability, and efficiency. Unlike regular skates, they typically feature larger wheels and a more aerodynamic design to reduce drag and enhance speed over extended periods. This makes them ideal for recreational skaters and athletes looking to improve their stamina.
When selecting endurance skates, consider features such as wheel size, frame material, and boot design. Larger wheels provide better speed and smoother rides, while lightweight frames enhance maneuverability. Additionally, a well-fitted boot with adequate ankle support can significantly improve comfort during long skating sessions.
While endurance skates are primarily designed for experienced skaters, beginners can also benefit from them if they prioritize comfort and stability. It's essential for beginners to choose a model that offers good ankle support and a secure fit. Starting with shorter distances can help build confidence and skill before tackling longer endurance sessions.
Endurance skates are ideal for activities such as long-distance skating, fitness skating, and recreational skating on smooth surfaces. They are also popular among athletes training for marathons or skating events, as they allow for sustained speed and efficiency. Additionally, they can be used for leisurely rides in parks or along scenic trails.
To ensure a proper fit for endurance skates, it's crucial to measure your foot size accurately and consider the specific sizing recommendations of the brand. Trying on skates with the type of socks you plan to wear can help achieve a snug fit. Additionally, pay attention to the boot's stiffness and ankle support, as these factors can greatly affect comfort during long skating sessions.
