I have all 3 sizes of these straps& love them because they are super light, strong& quiet. I use them for backpacking, camping& hunting. I give Shawn's review 5 stars as well.

5 Shawn K.
These are quite good. The hook buckle is easy to engage, and unlike plastic buckles, is unlikely to break. Adjusting the straps is equally simple, and it's possible to put a lot of force into them to really cinch them down. They release easily when you want them to, even when wet, but hold tight otherwise. I 've started using them to replace strap systems on other things. Do n't let Mark's `` weighty '' opinion keep you from these straps. The guy has n't even touched them! I agree that the weight should be provided by the manufacturer, so I 'll give Mark's review two stars.

5 Patrick T.
I use the 1m/40in straps to help secure equipment on my bikepacking/touring bike and they work great even when I ’ m riding single track. The straps stay secure and only come undone when I release them

I purchased these straps for securing my kayak in my truck, and have used them for securing other things as well, and they hold tightly, no slipping. I always pull over and check my ties after being on the road with the full force wind working against my lines, and, unlike rope and knots, these buckles do n't give anything up. Works for me!

Bought a set of these straps in 1988 and still use them today to keep longboards in the truck bed. I have had other straps that worked in a similar manner that have fallen apart or had the tightening mechanism fail. I am buying another set for securing loads above the cab. Good job Thule!

I bought these straps to replace the mounting `` strings '' that came with my Grand Trunk hammock. These straps, at 10 feet long, are perfect and give me a lot more options in terms of where I set up camp.

5 Cory
I purchased the Skeeter Beeter Pro for hammock camping and had one heck of a time finding two trees that were the perfect distance apart with the straps that come stock with the hammock. Most trees were either too far apart or too big for the straps. I actually had to use one of my buddies straps( he bought longer straps) and he had to use one of mine so we could both sleep in the same general area. These straps have extended my reach exponentially. Just get them and save yourself the hassle even if it does cost you more money that you did n't plan on spending.

5 BladeRunner
Bought these for a Grand Trunk hammock i already own, they 're new to their line and love them! Longer than the old set i owned and have more loops to hang. Also, they are n't stretchy like other brands. The stitching they use is super high quality. A friend of mine has a blue pair, but i prefer the black and the stitching matches my hammock. Way to go TSA for bringing a cool brand to your stores, ca n't wait to hopefully see their hammokcs in your stores soon!

[ Just what I need. Always great to have a sling with you when climbing. I got it for big wall climbing/ multi- pitch. I already tested it out and clearly survived so it works lol

5 Climbpa
[ These slings are nice. They are thicker which i like. It may limit you ability to use them for prusic knots or other friction hitches depending on your rope diameter.

4 Theo14
[ I bought a couple of 60 cm slings for sport climbing quick draws, and they ’ ve been working out well. The nylon is thick, abrasion resistant, super bomber, and I feel comfortable taking a lead fall on them. The nylon used gives stretches a little, putting more dynamic parts into the climbing equation and giving you a( very) slightly softer fall. Since the slings are wider than usual, I use sport quick draw carabiners so that the sling lays flat in the end of the carabiner. These slings are excellent at giving you a sense of comfort while taking lead falls on them.

5 Samster
[ It's simple and works well. It's way more comfy than hanging everything off a sling, and if you 're doing multi- pitch stuff, then unless you have an extra gear loop on your harness it's going to be too crowded. Great solution. It also, is nice to slide all your gear to the front or back for off- width stuff.

5 indynicolas
[ Bought this primarily for chimney use, for which it works wonderfully; especially with the loop design which keeps things organized and separated instead of just being one unruly blob of biners which can be very frustrating when things get sketchy. It also makes for great rack organization even when it ’s not being worn.

5 Mimi Marlo
[ I just bought this so it ’s only been used twice. Having the extra loops handy allows me to take more gear on climbs. I had previously put extra non lockers on slings( put over my shoulders and under my arm) but it ’s so much easier in the loops. Plus I can see all the gear that right in front instead of trying to identify gear on my harness.

5 Trev
[ The multiple little loops as opposed to just a large single one makes this the best gear loop out there hands down in my opinion. And it ’s the same price as the other types. Simple decision to me.

[ I bought this as a birthday gift for my climbing partner but definitely plan on borrowing it. I have found that other one- shouldered gear slings can make me super heady when leading due to the weight distribution, but the way this gear sling distributes the weight and makes it so your gear does n't slide forward is awesome! The backpack pocket is too small for a Nalgene bottle, but would be perfect for sunscreen and chapstick.

I got a couple of these loose CamJam Tensioners to go with my Dual CamJam Tie- down System. I added the extra tensioner midway on my 1 '' strap to allow me to tighten the strap completely around one bundle of 2x4s in the trailer, then wrap and tighten the same strap around a couple sticks of pipe with a second tensioner, used to anchor the whole lot to the other side of the trailer.

5 JNS
I use this product to strap down ladders and equipment during transportation to and from construction sites. It's a lot easier to use than standard ratchet straps and if you just leave the cam on the strap, no resetting is needed. It makes things super quick to use.

5 Nate
Quality product that allows for positioning the cam lock anywhere along the webbing. We use these all the time at our shop for tying down material from job site to job site. Very quick and easy to use.

5 Crank
Got this mainly for pick- up and trailer tie- down, but but useful on the ranch as well. The loop end slips through eyes on my truck bed easily enough, slips over cleats, and by putting the free end through the loop, can be anchored on beams, pipes, and branches as well. The dual cam lock allows the buckle to be positioned any where on the strap so you can get good access to the cams for tightening and release. The working side of the buckle works like a pulley, so we could get a 300- pound load up off the ground. I now have a couple in my truck all the time, and stowed one on the 4- wheeler, too.

5 That Guy
Trust is where it begins and ends with many things that require strength and security in holding things hard and fast. This Dual CamJam is the JAM! Other than than the webbing beginning to fray after two years hard use this system is one I recommend most when someone asks, “ How did you do that? ’& “ Hey what ’s that? ” Thanks for great kit.

[ Bought this the boyfriend and he loves it! He loves the separated loops so he can sort out his gear and it stays in place without getting tangled. The removable chain is a great feature. He removes it if he does n't need it and slaps that bad boy on if he is going on a serious trip. He prefers the side sling over the vest variety of gear slings because it is easy to throw on, take off, and store. The vest sling is too large and cumbersome.

I purchased these to use on my Fiat 500C as it does not have any existing tow hooks. Two for the front that fit nicely inside along the sides of the engine area. They are hard flexible rubber like material. When you close the hood and the back hatch it feels really secure. Have tried it and it's completely secure.

5 GeeVee
I just bought a new vehicle and needed a rear tie- down solution for my kayaks. These are simply awesome. The car's got a lift gate, and these slip through the openings next to the top hinges. The tie off is rock solid. So much easier than crawling under the car looking for a tow hook and when you 're done, you just remove them. Simple, effective, and absolutely worth the price.

5 Upstate Camper
Used it for our kayaks on a recent camping trip. Worked great for the bow and stern lines.

5 BananaPepper
Everything under the minivan is plastic so getting these EZ Loops worked perfectly in the hood and gate to ensure the new kayak makes it to the lake safely. Lots of adventures are going to be had now!

5 Budho
Give you that little extra sense if security with the yak on top of the car.

Their functionality makes them essential for athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone needing reliable gear management.

Equipment straps are typically made from durable materials such as nylon, polyester, or cotton, which provide strength and flexibility. Some straps may also feature reinforced stitching or additional padding for enhanced comfort and durability. The choice of material can affect the strap's weight capacity, resistance to wear, and overall longevity.

Selecting the right equipment strap depends on the specific use case and the type of equipment you need to secure. Consider factors such as the weight and size of the items, the environment in which they will be used, and any specific features you may require, such as quick-release mechanisms or adjustable lengths. It's also important to assess the strap's load capacity to ensure it meets your requirements.

Yes, equipment straps come in various styles to accommodate different needs and preferences. Some may feature adjustable lengths for versatility, while others might include hooks, loops, or buckles for secure fastening. Additionally, there are straps designed specifically for certain activities, such as lifting or outdoor adventures, which may offer unique features tailored to those uses.

When evaluating the durability of equipment straps, consider the material quality, stitching, and overall construction.
