This canopy is the best one I 've owned. It is a very sturdy with heavy gauge hardware including double sown seams on the canvas. I used it twice at windy football games and never hinted of sailing off. The E- Z Up 10'x10' is defiantly a two person setup and take down. Surprisingly, it is easy to remove/insert from the wheeled carrying envelope. It's 57lbs heavy.

I have had many canopy's in the past and everyone of them has lasted a year or two until breaking. This costs a little more but is very much worth the price. The cover is thick grade canvas that will not tear. The legs are strong and long enough so I do n't hit my head every time I walk under the tent( I 'm 6' 2 ''). the bag and wheels may be the best feature of all. The wheels are wide enough so the bag with the tent wo n't tip over while pulling it and it is made of the same strong canvas as the top of the canopy.

It was easy to set up, although it was easier with four people than two, just for trying to keep the legs going up evenly. It was steady and we did not use the stakes because it was sitting on concrete, but it also was not windy. The canopy seems durable and the legs strong. It pops right out. Open the zipper and we put our chairs in. We didnt need the extra materials for the setup but we might later. The capacity was 5. 2 adults, 3 teens. The take down process, well there were no instructions but was in a rush so we just folded it and carried it to our trunk. There's adequate interior space to accommodate a comfy( appropriately scaled) camp style chair, mini size cooler, and large tote bag/ backpack. The two side windows, front door, and small flap in the back can be unzipped according to preference and comfort needs. Unlike other weather pods, the front door unzips from the top down rather than the reverse which is much more suitable for control of visibility and comfort. The pod comes with stakes for added stability during increment and/or windy weather. I also like that it comes with a carrying case. The pod is quite easy to open and close once you practice a few times and become more familiar with the process. However, I found it very helpful to first view the video on the manufacturer's website. I highly recommend this amazing pop up pod for protection and comfort on cooler, windy, and/or rainy days. It's also nice when you prefer your own space and would rather not converse with others. It's definitely been an eye- catcher too and I 'm frequently asked about where to purchase this Perfect Pod!

I bought this to replace an old pop- up which had bowed, bent and broke at the middle brace points. I bought this one specifically for the reinforced braces in the middle and it did n't bow in once even during a rain storm in the mountain of Southern CO. The vented top was perfect for the wind, which was n't super strong, but was moving the top quite a bit! Really liked the idea of closing and opening these vents. Even had one side closed& the other open during the rain so it would n't come in us while we were cooking! Also bought this because of parts replacements, even thought I have n't needed it, very nice to know that it's available! The issue we had when putting it up, was a screw in the inside leg at the bottom was n't put in straight and it was catching the outer leg from extending. In step 3 of the instructions, Figure D was impossible to do! Had to have 2 people work at this to get it to click!

The mechanism to open and close this canopy is genius. It takes a minute to get the hang of it, but can absolutely be fully opened with legs extended in a minute, by yourself. More importantly, you can close it yourself( also very easily) in just seconds, and without needing to recruit three other people to help you like other canopies. This canopy is far better quality than any of the typical canopies you see at tailgates or soccer tournaments. It's heavier than other canopies, but it comes with a great quality bag with wheels which makes it easy to move. The straight- leg design means that you have a full 10 x 10 covered area as many other brands have angled legs which make the space under the canopy smaller than 10x10. This one feels much bigger than a typical canopy. I will be showing this off and recommending to all of my tailgate friends and fellow lacrosse parents. I got the grey color which is simple and neutral.

This canopy is incredible. We use it for youth baseball tournaments and everyone that sees it thinks it's awesome. It is absolutely the easiest canopy I 've seen to put up and take down. It is of better quality than any others also. Only thing that you will need to get used to is that is much heavier than others you may have used in the past, but that is due in large part to the quality. It would have benefited also from having tie points for the anchor system to tie it down but it is manageable. Be careful also not to drop it on the wheels when unloading as the pins that hold the wheels will bend due to the weight.

Hats off to the engineers at GCI.... The old days of 2 or four people pulling each corner of a canopy outwards are over. This canopy makes it crazy simple for one person to quickly set up a canopy without needing any support from others. Be ready to have onlookers impressed with your new rig. In the first week of owning this canopy, I was able to use it camping with my family and also at a Lacrosse Tournament. While we were setting up our tent, a quick thunderstorm was passing through. We quickly set this up over our tent to prevent rain from getting in the tent.( we did n't trust the rain fly on our tent). We also used this canopy as a sun shelter while camping. At the lacrosse tournament, this canopy stood out among the others with its stylish branding and blue color. The lax team and families were able to quickly find our home base under the canopy. This was our location for gear, drinks, snacks, and resting between games. The biggest challenge with this canopy is the expectation that it operates like canopies from the past. Knowledge and experience with past canopies and their design may impede upon learning a new technology and design. People will find that the Initial set up is very different. GCI created clever instructions and a great video to learn the new method. I 'm not someone to read directions so the video was useful for me. Once you 've learned the set up method... subsequent set ups are like riding a bike. They were the same size, style and price, but the first one I bought had mesh panels around the frame, including between the top and wall, leaving a gap of coverage and they would catch in the velcro. After returning that one, I picked up this Quest canopy and was much more satisfied with the sturdiness of the frame and thicker fabric in one solid piece- no mesh! While it's true this canopy does n't stand as tall as a standard 10x10, it's comfortable for sitting under in chairs and the compact size when storing and transporting is worth the trade off for us. It's easy enough to bring and set up by myself for the kids' swim practices, while a 10x10 would be too much hassle. I have been very popular at practices when I bring this canopy. We used this at our first swim meet and set up two chairs and a blanket and it worked for us. I could lift and rotate the whole canopy as needed to adjust the orientation of the canopy wall as the day went on. Almost everyone else had a 10x10, but they also involved wagons and lots of hauling gear around. We were happy with our relatively light load and the minimal space needed for storage at home.

I 'm so glad I got this shade! It's super lightweight and way better than any other pop up tent I 've used. I used the brand's set up video to help with the initial set up, but once I did it, it was a no brainer the other times I used it. Best part is I can keep it in the back of the car. I ’ ve been looking for a portable shade option since forever, but I didn ’ t want an entire tent production and umbrellas weren ’ t cutting it anymore. It provided enough shade for 4 of us and our folding wagon. I bought the grande online from Dicks sporting goods, picked up at the South Portland store, same day. Set up was simple, stretched it out in an X pattern, flipped the cord under the sand bags and filled with sand. Poked the poles under the front corners, adjusted the bags a little bit by stretching out, then dug a small pit and buried them. I 've been doing this for three days in the coastal winds and it's been getting more efficient each time. Zero issues, stays put for hours with shifting winds when set up properly. Take down is just as simple. Storage bag is compact. 5+ stars, I 'd buy it again without a doubt and have not received anything for this review.

Bought two grandes for a beach trip this wknd and they were simply amazing. Assembly: It took us a few minutes to figure out how to put up the first one but the second pne took us all of 2 minutes! Easy peasy! Coverage: My daughter, grandson and I used one tent and there was still so much more room for at least 2 more adults.
