I bought the socks to wear with trail shoes to hike the Wichita National Wildlife area in Southwest Oklahoma, and they worked out very well. It was extremely hot and humid( sweat rolling down the legs and into my shoes), but the socks prevented hotspots and blisters. I have used wool and gymn socks in prior similar conditions, and had to use Luko tape and still had hot spots, but not with these socks.
