Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It's too late to return them because I 've already worn them outside for a run, but they are great for just wearing around. I guess I 'll need to order a 3rd pair of my new favorite shoes!!

I have been wearing the Devotion X for a few years now, but, as shoes with cushiony midsoles do n't maintain support for very long, and the turnover rate is high, I have been looking for a shoe that is, at least, more environmentally friendly. I am recovering from a right foot Achilles tendon rupture surgery. I have been in a boot for 3 months. I at first needed a sturdy shoe to wear on my left foot to give me support and a little height to get close to matching the boot height. Today I get to wear shoes on both feet but still with heel lifts in my right shoe. It is all working. Great support. The soles are firm, which I love. I don ’ t like soft and mushy. Have been using these shoes to work out, walk, and run for about a month now. They have been the comfiest shoes I have ever used. They 're are also super lightweight. I will say they take some getting used to if you are used to shoes that have a lot more stability. But I have used ON Cloud and No Bulls that are more stable and still prefer these. The only thing that would make these shoes better is if the material was waterproof and easier to wipe down. But hands down best shoes to workout or even if you are on your feet for 12 hour shifts. Worth the investment.

I love this shoe. While everyone is wearing Hoka and OC I remain loyal to the Nike brand because of the consistent quality and style. I would go a half size up it ’s a bit narrow in the front foot area. They are solid for walking and have amazing strong support and are great at work.

Thick midsole. Con: Not a very protective shoe. This shoe is very comfortable straight out of the box. It has a really thick and soft midsole. The upper is made of a nice fabric that requires no break- in period. The shoe is classified as a walking shoe and I can see why. I can wear this pair throughout the day and it wo n't hurt my feet. It took a little bit of time to get used to because of the shape of the midsole. It provides a rocking effect so it might feel weird to anyone who has n't experienced that before. However, that goes away really fast. I think it's a perfect for anyone that needs an all black pair for jobs that require long periods of standing. The outsole seems very durable so far and it 'll probably make for a long life of the shoe. The cushioning is n't made of Nike's top of the line foams, but it feels very soft. It's comparable to other Nike cushioning systems. You also ca n't beat the price range. I appreciate that it's part of the Move to Zero program as well.

If I could give more stars I would! By far the most comfortable shoes I ’ ve worn since my car accident. I couldn ’ t walk for very long without pain in my knee and lower back. But these have been a game changer for me and the profession I am in requires me to be on my feet for most of my shift. I highly recommend these if you are on your feet for most of your work day or enjoy walking for leisure.
