Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. Overall a much lighter and comfortable alternative to the traditional steel toed work boot.

Other work boots I have owned which had lugs, used lesser quality ones, and occasionally they would bend out of proper alignment and requre bending back. I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. The sizing is fairly true to size with medium to thicker socks but I ’ d dize down 1/2 if wearing thin socks. I ’ m very stoked on these boots!

Its hard to leave an educated review without putting some miles on the boots. That being said, I have had my boots three weeks now. I 'm a union electrician and I had a big shutdown over labor day weekend. I wore the boots 19 hours without taking them off and I must say they are a very comfortable boot. My only complaint with these boots is that they took forever to break in. After two weeks I thought about returning them because the leather uppers were digging into my ankle so badly that I had bruises. I kept wearing them because of all of the good reviews. At about 3- 4 weeks of wear they just kind of conform to your foot. Now at 8 months they are the most comfortable shoe I own period. After a weekend of wearing tennis shoes my feet actually feel good slipping into these work boots. I can work an 8 hour shift on my feet and keep them on after work until I go to sleep and they are still comfortable. Not to mention that they are holding up great and if I cleaned them they 'd probably look new. I will be replacing these with a pair of the same boots when these finally wear out.

I 've had these boots for over a year, working 10- 12 hours a day 5- 7 days a week. I work in the elements. I have tromped through water, been on ladders for hours of the day with no arch pain, rested heavy objects on them, and put them through a good bit of everything. They still do not leak water, they are still comfortable, they have not torn at any seams and keep my feet happy. I would buy these again without hesitation and would highly recommend them to friends and coworkers. I had to replace the laces today but that is expected. They do not have to be broken in like some other boots.

I do n't usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. Playing in the mud
So far so good! They were a little uncomfortable at first but after a week there are comfy. I wish the tongue was attached a like higher up the boot so you can stand in deeper water but other than that they work flawlessly! I ’ m a well driller and good boys are hard to find that hold up to the constant mud and water every day. George boots hold up better than anything I ’ ve slipped my foot in!

I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable
