Perfect for me. I was hesitant to buy these, given the mixed reviews. I am a size 7 in women ’s shoes. I have narrow feet with tapered toes. These fit me perfectly. They are on the snug side but I intend to wear these for casual wear only. If you have wide, or even regular size feet, and if your toes aren ’ t tapered, then these are definitely not for you. The laces are designed in a way that does not allow you to loosen or tighten the shoe. The tongue is fixed, so the shoe is kind of like a slip on with decorative laces. Even if you order up several sizes, it wont change the fact that you can not adjust the width of the shoe like you normally could. Also. The fabric has no stretch to it.

[ These shoes exceeded my expectations pretty much across the board. I was concerned that the limited niche that these shoes fit would mean that there could be some corners cut in quality or event- specific design. I was wrong- the shoes are very well built and are actually incredibly comfortable, even when considering the stiff sole. The materials were all top notch. The placement of the spikes and general design of the shoe do make it feel like they 're at least supporting or even improving your performance. They fit true- to- size on me( average foot width, size 10. 5). I love the velcro strap that wraps across the top of this shoe. It really locks your foot into the shoe- I never felt like my foot was slipping around in the shoe, which is really important when you 're looking to optimize performance. They throw in a pretty nice little bag to keep the shoes in which will be appreciate by anyone that has ever had to put filthy shoes into a track bag! My only minor gripe is that the tool that you use to screw on the spikes is n't magnetized( or if it is, it is n't strong enough). Two sides of the spike are flattened so that the tool can get a hold of it, but I had a few instances where the spike fell out if I did n't line it up right. I think they 'd be pretty easy to lose in grass considering how small they are, so adding that little feature to the tool would have been nice. Overall, you ca n't go wrong with these shoes!

It is very comfortable, especially in the plant for long jump. It has a good snug fit which I like a whole lot. The durability is also good. So far there are no wear marks or signs on this shoe. It is also one of the best looking shoes on the market, a true eye catcher. Totally worth buying.

[ I was really impressed with the quality, build and comfort of this shoe. I got them in my normal size and my feet felt very comfortable with no break time needed. The X- cross diagonal strap system is amazing and it gives my feet the extra lockdown for a more secured fit when maneuvering. Additionally, the padding in between the spikes and the forefoot gives the shoe a nice springlike sensation( it also just looks really cool too) so you can really kick into gear and channel all of that momentum as you run towards the pit. The shoes are top quality and they deliver in terms of performance, style and comfort. I had no issues whatsoever and I will be looking forward to using them for the foreseeable future!

[ After taking these to the track for the first time, I got several compliments simply on the style and look. The design is fire! The shoe itself is super comfortable. I really like when the velcro strap is included in jumping spikes. It allows you to tighten more broadly on your foot vs just the laces can make it too tight in just one spot. Also, the velcro helped stabilize the foot in place- no sliding! Shoes felt very breathable but I 've only tried them in the winter so far- looking forward to using them in summer track! I got this shoe to train for 5k- half marathon distances. The formulation of 100% super foam and a nylon/plastic plate works perfect for me. I can train and race in them without needing expensive carbon shoes which have caused me injury in the past( Endorphin Pro 3). Absolutely zero injuries with these so far. I was in between sizes with these and went with the larger size and they fit well. Narrow fit but no hotspots, great for when I ’ m training fast intervals at 5k pace( ~6: 30/mile). Compared to the Endorphin Speed 2 they are not as bouncy or fast, but they are MUCH more stable which lets me get more easy miles in them as well to round out my training. Could use this shoe for all my miles honestly. Great price on sale now that the 5 came out.

I had foot surgery at the beginning of the year and I was using the Max 2 ’s for running. When the Max 3 ’s came out I thought I ’ d give them a try. I am so pleased with these shoes. The cushioning has made my fused toe as comfortable as it can be in any shoe I ’ ve had on since the operation. Yes the heel collar is a little high but it does break in. I think it adds to the stability which is why I love the Pro's. I ran 3 marathons in the 4's and have had 4 pairs. I bought the 5's and they are great. I taped my heel on my 20 mile long runs and had no issues. They are slightly more stable than the 4's and that is what I want. A responsive marathon ready shoe that is stable and NO BLISTERS!!! I have tried every other brand and I do n't know whose feet they fit but Saucony is the GOAT for fit. I am running LA Marathon on Sunday and will be wearing these shoes. If I have any issues I will update the review but like I said I already did 20 miles a couple times during training and with a bit of tape or a band aid on the heel I had zero issues. I think they are broken in and wo n't have an issue but I will be cautious and tape the back of my heel. They also have extra foam at the connection between the upper and the midsole which I think will add to the durability of the shoe. I had issues with the 4's tearing at the upper and midsole( check review for 4's). Hopefully this change will add to durability. I also have the speed 5's and these are a bit snappier but the speeds are a good 2nd if you are budget conscious.

These are great. Super light for a running shoe these days in a world of maximalist trainers. My size 13 pair is just over 7oz per shoe. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10- 15 miles without issue. I 've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they 're still going strong. Wishing they 'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples and whatever, but I 'm sure in time they will. Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.

I do n't run a lot of 5k's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. I usually just run in a pair of my training shoes, but thought a lighter pair would help in a shorter distance. Any excuse for a new pair of running shoes. Out of the box my first thought was amazement at how light they are! My shoe rotation includes the zoomx invincible 1 and 2's, vomero 16's and the brooks adrenaline. None of which are particularly light. First time on my feet the upper felt like tissue paper with a zoomx lower. The upper did not feel flexible. Almost plasticky, but not a major issue. The cushioning felt squishy like I would bottom it out under hard running. First run, they felt fine. Lighter, more nimble than my usual shoes. Cushioning felt adequate for a short distance. Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race. 5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I 'm not the fastest guy out there. 8: 35 miles. Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I do n't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I 'm not sure if the wear will show. Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade. I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I do n't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I 'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

I am female but buy exclusively men ’s sneakers I love the sizing and quality better plus now they have colors that you can ’ t even tell if it ’s a male or female style. I have been a die hard brooks fan from years of working on my feet on hard medical flooring. HOKA soles are like walking on a cloud. I took a picture to show the difference in the sole size. It ’s pretty large without looking ridiculous. I think I ’ m a HOKA convert.
